Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Hamilton Township

On June 9th at 7:46 pm I ordered a 14" pepperoni pizza, big don sub, cookies and a soda to be delivered at 8:27 pm. I decided to wait for the order by our door at about 8:00 pm because delivery people have a hard time finding our address. At 8:18 pm I received the email confirmation that the pizza left the building.

At 8 :49 I called Donatos because the order had not been delivered yet. I was told by whomever answered the phone that the pizza had just left the building. Fine, I'm ok with that.

At 8:54 I recieved a call from a lady saying that the ordered had been delivered and left outside since the door hadn't been answered. I had been standing by the door for an hour now so I knew this was not true, no one had even approached the door. I checked outside anyway, no pizza. She then put the delivery driver on the phone, who proceeded to accuse me of lying. He said I hadn't answered the door bell (which was never rung as he was not at my apartment), left the order on 2 boxes on my porch (I had no boxes on my porch all day), and that there was no yellow car in front of our building. (That yellow car is mine and a marker I try and use to help delivery people find our building. My car was parked directly in front of the path that led to my building).

He got mad and handed the phone back to the lady, who I think was a manager. I explained that he may have delivered the order, he didn't deliver to the right address. She asked if I wanted the order remade and delivered, which I declined. She stated she would refund our money and recredit my free pizza. As of today, this has not been done. I would like to have my refund, back to the form of payment,...

I am a truck driver. I have been to several Pizza, wing, burger, Chinese, Mexican, Seafood, BBQ and Korean places over my years being on the road. Often I do not have to order food. But when I do, it’s pizza. If you like thin crust pizza, this is hands down THE BEST PIZZA in America. That is from Maine to Washington State, to California to Florida. I have found that New York State has the best stuffed crust, Detroit is known for their deep dish, and you go to Chicago if you want a pie style…but this restaurant is undoubtedly the best at making thin crust pizza. Seeing as that is my favorite ethos is my new favorite place to get pizza from in the United States. Perfectly baked crust. Very Very well seasoned. Offers a unique flavor to all of your common favorite and then even some not so common favorites. The pizza looks exactly as the pictures show on their websites and links. I would post a photo but I ate it for the most part a soon as it got here. That being the other thing. It was even as good as I had imagined despite being cold, considering my delivery driver had a previous order that took longer than expected and I ordered in a time where Columbus Ohio is highly trafficked. So no foul to the driver and esspecially not the Pizza place. Will be returning for future orders. I would assume if the pizza and cheese bread are just as good tasting as they look their calzones, salads, meatballs, and deserts are as-well. May be on the menu for the future. Thank you for serving such a delicious pizza to a hungry half distraught...

I think I am going to have to break up with Donatos. About 3 weeks ago, ordered and my order wasn't correct. No extra mushrooms on my pizza as I requested. Emailed my dissatisfaction and was given a $20 credit at the specific store I went ordered from. Great! I'll be ordering again soon, and some extras! Couple weeks later, ordered again with the extras because I had the credit...Again, messed up. I didn't bother complaining because more than likely, that is why they messed up my order this time. Again, asked for extra mushroom, half of the normal amount of pepperoni.. I received a single order of mushrooms and obviously, whole order of pepperoni. It was also over cooked, almost burnt. My ham and cheese sub, where was the meat??!! Hardly any ham, I also asked for extra lettuce... only a couple shreds of lettuce, and their tomatoes, looked as if they used 2 slices of cherry tomatoes on each half of the sub. Thought we'd try some chicken wings, plain and garlic... I'm not even sure what flavor that was, but you may just want to remove chicken wings, bone in or boneless from the menu. Awful, definitely was NOT garlic. The only item that was right, the bread sticks and my sons double pepperoni pizza. Get it together Donatos! You used to be my favorite pizza...
