I went to try the GF pizza, as I have medical dietary needs. The staff was knowledgeable about their offering, able to answer my questions, got me exactly what I needed. It was super affordable, usually I am upcharged TONS for my medical requirements, so it was a great accessible price for a disabled person like me! Staff is friendly and approachable, several people were around and helping do various tasks, attending to people. Atmosphere was dive bar-esque. I mean that in a good way, like if I lived closer, I'd hang out there regularly. Easy. My pizza was FULL of toppings and delicious. (It looks like the crust is burnt in the pic, but it's not)

Nice neighborhood pizza place. Staff was super nice, but service was a little slow. (We called repeatedly to order carryout and kept getting a busy signal so decided to eat in; it was fairly busy but seating was still available). Parmesan bread sticks were good — simple pizza crust with parmesan baked on top. And our pizza was good. What I'd call a New York style, but with generous amounts of cheese (which I appreciate but it was a little salty). They offer the sweet sauce that's a regional specialty or traditional sauce or mixed. We got the mixed and liked it. We'd go again and/or attempt carryout again.

Commodore’s doesn’t owe us a thing!!! It was our first time here and my gf and I both sat in silence eating, just exchanging happy looks as we would try each different thing 😂 Started off great with delicious sweet tea! Then that extra-cheesy spinach dip with pizza bread?? YUM!! We also got a pizza to split with a side of ranch and a side of the sweet sauce to try. The pizza was delicious and and the ranch was perfect. I’m not partial to the sweet sauce but even that was tasty in its own way. We’ll be back soon!!

I ordered a large Godfather WITH sweet sauce, I go pick up my pizza get all the way back to my house and realize that my pizza didn't have sweet sauce it had traditional. No big deal I understand things get mixed up, I also order from them all the time so I called and just simply told them they made a mistake. The woman told me she would write my name down and next time I would get my same pizza for free. I was satisfied with that. So today I check my bank account and they charged my card $24.23 instantly I was confused because my pizza was only $20.19 (no I did not tip them) they took it upon themselves to tip their self. I am highly aggravated and disappointed with this. I will not be returning and they will no longer have...

The place looks good, but I didn't get a chance to eat. We came in with 4 people. They asked if we were there for pickup, we said we just needed a table. They then ignored us while we stood by the door, but then immediately sat a couple that obviously came in 10 minutes after us. When they checked on us again, they said they were booked up and that it would be a long wait. We just left. One of two things happened: either they're so disorganized that they can't keep track of who came in first, or else they sat the other couple because they were white and we weren't. Either way, it's incredibly disrespectful.

EDIT: Go to Milan's Wood Fired Pizza instead. Also in Hammond, better atmosphere, nicer staff, and the best pizza...

EDIT: We ended up going to Milan Wood Fired Pizza after being rudely ignored here, and they were THE BOMB. Go to Milan instead. We came in and waited to be seated for probably 10 minutes, with employees asking if we were "here to pick up" and us saying that we needed a table. We watched others be seated who came in after us, and then they told us after a few more minutes of waiting that they were "booked up" for the evening even though it's 7:00 P.M. and they close at 10. I don't want to think that race played a part in this, but it's either that or they are just too incompetent to seat people at tables when they arrive.
