Alyssa was the cashier when I placed my order. I guess in the background it was loud and she couldn’t hear me when I was mentioning about my military discount and loyalty program for my points. So I decided to mention it to her when I got to the window to pay for my food. As I was talking to her, she had the headphone on so I wasn’t sure if she was listening to me or listening to somebody else so I asked, “are you talking to me or you talking to somebody else?”, Then, all of a sudden she got frustrated and she took her headphone off and said, “ I was listening to you!” Then she walked off and she said somebody take this customer. Her aggressive behavior and unprofessional attitude alarmed me. It was Charlene who completed my order and took care of me. Because this young lady was so rude I asked for the manager. Unfortunately, the manager was not prepared for what happened. I told her Alyssa needs to work on her customer service skills or quit. The manager only said Yes ma’am…nothing else. She didn’t even complete my order. However, Charlene did the job of both Alyssa and the evening manager. She was calm, professional, and apologized for what happened. She ensured I received the correct order, applied both military discount and loyalty number to my order.
As for Alyssa, if you can’t handle a fast paced business like Off the Hook, I highly recommend you quit because you’re the type of worker that will cause customers to never come back to this restaurant. Aggressive behavior and unprofessional attitude towards customers is unacceptable.
Evening Manager, you need to step down and learn from season leaders.

Read moreVery, very TINY PORTION SIZES and a complete waste of our money spending an average between $50 to $75 for their "HALF EMPTY CONTAINERS." OFF-the-HOOK manager in Hammond, Louisiana told me yesterday that THEY RECENTLY CHANGED THE PORTION SIZES AGAIN ...and I ASKED HER then have y'all also lowered your prices to reflect that change in portions, and her answer was no. So I handed her back 1 Fish & Shrimp Platter, 1 Shrimp Platter, 3 extra side orders of fried shrimp, 2 extra separate orders of Hush Puppies, 3 glass bottles of Root Beer, mashed potatoes, etc.... I told the manager they need to PLACE SIGN's out and on the drive thru menu so that CUSTOMER's are being informed of the tiny portions changes she said they recently done. I showed her they also over charged me. She voided my order and told me the $50 will not show up at my bank and gave me the receipt. I stated that I/my family are permanently ending our business as a customers with Off the Hook due to the multiples times they keep telling me that they are again DOWNSIZING their portion sizes and due to their higher prices that we will not waste another time because Off the Hook is being greedy and this is not fair to ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! I told her that I am stating facts so they maybe at the least it will help other customers in the future. (((( THEN....I drove to APPLEBEE'S and we ordered 2 WHOLE RACKS of DOUBLE GLAZED BABY BACK RIBS AND SIDE ORDERS OF GARLIC POTATOES, etc... and their portion sizes were larger and very generous and THEIR RIBS ARE TO DIE FOR!!! YUMMY and we received more food at APPLEBEE'S than Off the HOOK gives.

Read moreMy church group recently had the pleasure of dining at Off the Hook Restaurant, and it was an experience worth raving about. From start to finish, the evening was a culinary delight coupled with impeccable service.
We began our meal with a cup of sausage gumbo as an appetizer, which was a fantastic way to kick off the evening. The gumbo was rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, setting high expectations for the rest of the meal.
For the main course, we enjoyed a variety of dishes, including catfish, shrimp, and chicken wraps, all of which were cooked to perfection. The catfish was crispy and tender, the shrimp were succulent and fresh, and the chicken wraps were both hearty and delicious. The red beans and rice were a perfect accompaniment, adding a touch of comfort food to our spread. Each dish was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and taste.
The service was nothing short of excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Special thanks to Sharlene and Darryl, whose exceptional customer service made our meeting not only successful but also incredibly enjoyable. Their warm hospitality and professionalism truly enhanced our dining experience.
Overall, Off the Hook Restaurant provided us with an unforgettable evening of great food and outstanding service. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable...
