Well, decided to try it again because I do love the flavors. I ordered online and I wish I had read the reviews first. I showed up when my order was due and they hadn't even started it. They forgot my fries, took 10 minutes and there was only 1 other customer there. Still didn't get my blackened ranch. Order said 5. She gave me 2. I took what I had and came home. Chicken seemed like quality has gone down. Didn't even eat a whole piece. Guess my dogs will enjoy this 16 piece.
3 years ago: They were busy, the line was long. I had a big order. I got through the line, got my food, pulled up enough for the next car to pull to the window, then checked my food. I asked for tenders (for the kids) got regular pieces of chicken. No biggie, they're busy. I figured I would get it fixed and go about my way. Well, the drive through line was about a 20 minute wait and the dine in was locked. I called about 4 times with no answer. I finally caught someone through the windows cleaning tables who let me in. I walked up to the register (food in hand) and was immediately told they were closed. I explained the mix up and the lady from the drive through looked like she was ready to jump over the counter at me. She started yelling that I asked for chicken not tenders over and over, despite the fact that I very carefully made sure I said tenders while ordering (this is a common mistake I have when I order popeyes at this location). The manager intervened and gave me the tenders and sent me on my way. I can understand mistakes happen, but it was so unprofessional the way the drive through cashier handled the situation. The fact that no one answered the phone was a bit frustrating, the loud beep at the end was awful. Oh, and the ghost pepper wings definitely looked like baby chicks with all skin and no meat. Read moreIt was HORRIBLE!!! Long line and wait in drive through, so I parked and went in. The clerk asked if I was picking up I, said no. I was told it was drive through only. NO SIGN ON DOOR !! Got back in line, finally get to do my order, the person taking orders spoke like she didn't want to be there. After taking my order I, said oh I have a coupon ( which I don't usually use) , she replied that I should have told her that first in a very sarcastic way. I told her I didnt know that. I could here someone in the background saying to cancel the order, then person taking the orders said rudely I have a void. I was able to get out of line and left. I then went to the one in Hammond, where they didn't turn customers away walking in, and was very polite. Another customer came in and said something to the lady taking the order and I told them what happened at the Ponchatoula store. I also thanked them several times for the great service. Read moreI wouldn't even give a star to them. I have never met fast food place that is so rude to their customers. They tried to make me pay for someone else's order plus my own. Screw that. They need to fire everyone or give them a class on how to treat people/customers. This isn't the first time they were rude. I have came in the past. I WILL DEFINITELY NEVER RETURN TO THIS ONE. Great customer service McDonald's. Went back to Popeyes because my dad really wanted red beans and rice.. so my husband went in ordered 2 red beans and rice large. We got a small cup and told it was a small. And all we got was a rice in a cup for both and no red beans pathetic. Poor customer service. I will definitely not got back to that one.
