Alfanos Pizza Eatery — Restaurant in Hampshire Township

I had a 2.5 hour wait to get my car serviced in Hampshire and I was hungry. The guys at James Chrysler suggested I walk down the street to Alfano's Pizza Eatery. I am not typically an Italian food lover, but since it was a cold day, I ordered their minestrone soup. It was plain to me that I have gone my entire life (50+) years without tasting authentic, deeply rich, minestrone soup! I have never seen so many chunky fresh ingredients-zucchini, carrots, peas, peas in the pod, celery, potatoes, tomatos, spinach and kidney beans. I think what really made it so good is tomato-based foods usually are too acidic for me. But this soup, wow! Smooth and delicious! I am ordering more to take home. Great little pizza place hidden in hampshire, family run and working with mom and dad and the son all making a great product for people and affordable. From the time we walked in to leaving even with eatting 30 Mins. Quick cook times, plentiful toppings , great service all while not breaking the bank. The dining area is small ,but comfortable and the staff is very attentive to the customer and caring from what we saw !! That in my opinion is a lost art . Thank you for your resturant and staff

This place impressed me greatly, and I don't impress easily! Came here with my family and we had zero regrets. The Alfano family are a lovely and friendly dynamic and I really enjoyed watching them work together as a team. The food was absolutely fantastic. They use quality ingredients and make the pizza sauce fresh everyday! They are not satisfied unless their customers are satisfied and that is a rare quality to find these days.
