Stop N GO/Zero Sub's@ Buckroe Beach — Restaurant in Hampton

Owner tried to over charge me by almost $5 suspecting I wouldnt challenge his addition. Chips were clearly marked 2/$1 and he tried to charge me 2.50 each then I ordered a bbq sandwich and was very concerned when she pulled a bucket out of the fridge and proceeded to scoop my bbq onto a scale with no paper or container to not contaminate it from whatever else she may have weighed on the scale. Then said she was going to put it on the grill to warm it... shocked! As the grill itself cannot guarantee a correct temperature for a uniform heat needed in cooked meat products and will likely take all the juice out which is why the container says to warm in a steam pan to a specific temperature... I was also concerned she didnt change her gloves after wiping down the grill with a scraper stored on the floor... from the previous customer before starting on my order. There are several sanitation and safety violations in the preparation of food. although the people who work there are courteous I was harassed the entire time I waited on my food by a shady customer that seemed to linger in the parking lot after my several rejections to his advances... very disappointed in this zeros as I come from vb and absolutely love every other location...

I’ve been thinking about stopping but never did for the last couple years we’ve been going to fish at Buckroe fishing pier. I’m kicking myself because the subs are off the charts. Although the atmosphere isn’t that great, the “to go” food made up for it. I ordered the onion rings, which I felt would be something from a freezer section, were great, homemade!! The grinder sub was very good. We also got the Philly cheesesteak, but the grinder was my favorite. The lady that made our food was super sweet and nice!! I’ve rode past this place so many times, saying I’ll try it the next time. Mad that I didn’t earlier, oh and they have bait if you’re going to the pier!! And the ice is way cheaper!! My new spot...

They actually have Really great sub sandwiches! Great beverage prices and cell phone e accessories. Locally owned and friendly. This is more like a New York Deli then a zeros it's a zeros franchise but these are actually foreign National Americans who have created a a corner store Deli and the food is worth stopping by for lunch. I generally order the large toasted grinder Italian with everything including the Cherry...
