Willie’s Restaurant — Restaurant in Hampton

We walked into Willies at 7pm and got seated right away. We sat for about 10 mins and the waitress walks by and she says she will be with us soon. About 10 mins later she come by and ask if someone got our drinks. I said no. No one has been to us yet. She said well I said I would be back. She took our drink order except my 4 year olds cause she could not pick what she wanted. 10-15 mins went by again and she came back with the drinks. She asked if we were ready to order. My husband said his order. I then was confirming with my four year old to make sure she wanted Mac & cheese or changed her mind to a cheese burger. The waitress said well I am busy I will be back if she does not know what she wants. She started to walk away and I said no we know what we want. (I was only confirming with her since so much time went by since she picked what she wanted. Plus there were empty tables around us and no one waiting to be seated). The waitress snaps well we are busy with an an attitude. My husband said well we can just go somewhere else. Without missing a beat she grabs the drinks pulls them away and says that’s ok. She walks away while running her mouth off. We walked out of Willies around 7:30pm. My 4 year old crying cause she really wanted Wilde’s for dinner. I can definitely say yes the food is good but the service took our experience way down. In the future I will make sure we go...

Most Disappointed went into Willies sat down wait 20 minutes before anyone even greeted us. Then took our order for drinks then took another 10 minutes to get the drinks. Finally we was ordering our food and we asked our 4 year old what she wanted to eat when the waitress got a attitude and started walking away because evidently our daughter was taking too long. This wasn’t the first time this same waitress has had a bad attitude with us. I would not recommend going to this sports bar for anything!!! Talk about very poor customer service!!!! Plus over priced for what you get anyone can put fries and cheese balls in a fryer. The ribeye sandwich is mostly fat and grizzly not quality meat the tenderloin wasn’t the best either and I’ve had so much...

My party of 4 and I dined here on Saturday, February 11. There were 6-7 people in the place. Not busy at all…. The cheeseballs were burnt and hard - I didn't know you could mess up cheeseballs. Yet, here we are. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger - I took one bite of the cooked-to-leather burger. When these concerns were brought up to the server, she apologized and walked away. Clearly, the food was not good, ALL but 3 cheese balls were still in the boat and only 1 bite or the ‘burger’ had been eaten. $86 for 4 people to eat in a bar, in Hampton, Iowa - unreal!
