Update to the previous review from a couple of years ago. Though this McDonald's was was improving with a few hiccups here and there they really messed up one of my latest orders. Not once, not twice and usually third time is a charm ,but not this time. There was a Cheesy Jalapeno QPC that was ordered minus the cheese sauce. Upon opening the box for the first time there was no cheese slices nor bacon. This prompted a trip back to the store. I really wasn't in the mood to do that after working 15 hours, but I really wanted the sandwich to be correct. When arriving to the store I was greeted by two employees standing outside at the door. The inside of the store wasn't very busy but the drive up was backed up. After waiting my turn I showed the I'm guessing manager the mistake. She said they would fix it and apologized for the inconvenience. She proceeded to wave the two outside to come in. After waiting for around 5 minutes she hastily walked to the door and told the two employees that they needed to get back to work. After waiting for around 10 minutes the sandwich finally came out. The manager instructed me to check it. Once again it wasn't right. This time missing cheese slices. So she sent it back to be corrected. After another 5 minutes or so it came back out. This time she bagged it, apologized again, and sent me on my way. At this time I was too tired to eat or even look at the sandwich. I took it to work the next day. To my utter disbelief the sandwich was once again wrong. No top bun and it looked like a train wreck. After 15 to 20 minutes waiting for this thing to be right it's still wrong. I contacted McDonald's on the website. I got an auto response saying they will forward it to the store. Needless to say it's a roll of the dice going to this location. I still go to this location I just make sure to look at everything in the bag before leaving. This location was remodeled so the...
Read moreI recently placed a mobile order 1/15/25 at 3:40pm for a plain quarter pounder using my points. Despite being the only vehicle in line when I reached the window, I was repeatedly asked to pull forward. I politely declined since no one was initially behind me. When two cars eventually pulled up, the manager insisted I move, becoming rude and escalating the situation unnecessarily.
I understand the importance of drive-thru timers, but my order is just as important as others. According to Google, it takes 2-3 minutes to cook a plain quarter pounder, which had already passed. The manager's time would have been better spent assisting staff rather than insisting I move forward or receive a refund and leave.
Suggestions for Improvement:
Customer Focus: Prioritize customer service over drive-thru timers. Staff Training: Train staff to handle such situations calmly and professionally. Efficiency: Utilize management time to assist in order preparation during delays. Suggestion: Add option to mobile app to decline moving forward to next window. If I have already declined moving forward stop using intimidation and bullying tactics on your customers. This was not during rush hour, and my order was just one item—a plain...
Read moreThe McDonald's in Hanceville is a very hit or miss establishment. They get it right, or they get it wrong. Tonight, like many other nights, they did the latter of the two. This isn't a rare thing either. For example, one day I was there and I placed my order and was asked to go to the reserved parking to wait. No problem. I waited for around 30 minutes and I saw a change in shift as most of the staff left while others came to fill their positions. After another 15 minutes, I drove back around to the window to ask where my food was. The person I spoke to, I believe to be a manager, said he had no idea I was waiting. I wasn't angry at him, I just wanted to get my food and leave. He was very apologetic and compensated us more than fairly. I told him it really wasn't necessary, but he insisted nonetheless. If I could rate his work, this review would be a five star review. However, since I'm rating the business overall, it most definitely falls short to the rest of it's sister locations, since this seems to be the only McDonald's location I have these...
