If I can rate my experience 0 stars I would! Never are we eating in this establishment ever again. I am not one to usually leave a review but it was that bad from the start. Once we were sat at our table we noticed our silverware was dirty food still stuck on the utensils so we asked for plastic. Our drinks come and as my friend is drinking her sprite I notice the glass looks cracked so I go and look at it come to find out it’s a long black hair! I mean never have I ever found hair in my drink of all places. Then to top it off I’m now looking at my cup and I find another long hair in my drink at this point I’m disgusted and thinking this was intentional. I look at my friend like I need to say something we need to go she gives me that look like let’s not make a scene so we continue to sit there hoping are food comes out okay. Then our food comes my friend ordered boneless wings and she notices well looks like they improvised that and they decided well let’s give her chopped up chicken strips with buffalo sauce. Just horrible service! Then at this point we stop eating the server Eric who was very pleasant might I add brings us to go trays as I’m packing my food here goes another long hair. I swear you can’t make this up! I wanted to then make a scene my friend was like let’s just go! Horrible, horrible, horrible! I still paid for the bill might I add and didn’t say anything because my friend gets embarrassed easily! The only good service we had in this establishment was our server Eric! Other then that this place is a hole in the wall literally. Trust me don’t waste your time or money in this place! And the server who checked us out let me tell u, rude!!! She’s lucky I had our children and I obviously was in no mood to speak out! Hopefully we don’t get sick! Check the cameras you will literally see me pulling out hairs! I can’t make this up! Read moreI never got to share my personal thoughts on this restaurant and to be honest when I left in February of 2023 I wanted absolutely nothing to do with I got offered the job of a life time to work for another Denny's and basically made $22 an hour which isn't bad especially just being a underdog manager not even a big shot. But after leaving I had to be reminded constantly about how much this Denny's sucked by my new boss no offense to the district manager Nicole but you should a serious talk with Rich But this was a place I liked going to everyday. It's been a few months now since I left. I left as a manager here and went to another Denny's to still be a manager. I have no regrets working here it was a amazing experience and I'm happy I got to meet amazing people but the reason I'm posting this now is because I'm running for a public official position in 2025 and have been offered a site manager position for a new promotion I gave Nicole the district manager to promote through the restaurant and to bring in business for the restaurant I'm also posting this as well as I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer back when I was 13 and unfortunately I'm running short on time but wanted to make sure this was posted for all the haters out there who think this restaurant shouldn't exist without Denny's in Hanover park people wouldn't have experience on certain things or being able to be better than they've ever benn I mean look at me I was a server who became a manager who's going to be running for office in 2025 so if you want results in life I recommend working here and starting small and working up! Nicole this was amazing experience for me and I'll never forget it thank you and I hope my promotion I gave you works for you guys!

Read moreWe did an online order here at Denny's in Hanover Park, 12-10-22 as I go into this establishment to get my food I walk in and the waitress is yelling at the cooks because they didn't understand her language. Apparently her customers ordered chicken sandwiches and the cooks made cheeseburgers cuz of the language barrier, so the guy working with her could speak Spanish so he told them what the order was in Spanish so they had to remake the whole order for the people that were sitting to eat, then I asked for my order and the girl asked me what my name was so I told her she said hold on so I waited and then the guy hands me the food and she says no you can't have it. You need to show me proof that you bought this food, how would I know the name of the order if I didn't buy it? If I was going to take food that was sitting on the table I would just take it and not ask for it again. How would I know the name on the order? It's my name I ordered it. Somebody that's stealing food with no who called it in. You need to hire more intelligent people. By the way, the bistics and gravy were terrible and my wife did not eat them french fries around point, I had the Mama D's pot roast which was decent but the carrots were terrible. This was probably something that was in the freezer and they threw in the oven because that was the worst carrots I ever had. Anyway Denny's you need to step it up, hire more intelligent people and that can speak the language. The guy there was super nice but that waitress with the brown hair was super rude. She should not be in customer service. If she worked for me she would have been fired. She was so mean check the cameras.
