I want to stay off by saying that our food and drinks were excellent and it was very nice to be able to sit outside on the beautiful patio area for the first nice day of the year. I am very disappointed to have to write this, because I often do not need feel the need to complain about any business, but this was probably the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a server before. A group of us (myself, my boyfriend and another couple) had come in earlier as soon as Benny’s had opened for the day. We were promptly seated. We were immediately given attitude from our server who seemed like she was so annoyed to be waiting on us and firmly explained that she needed all of our IDs, which I assume is policy and is fine, but she rudely told one of us (who only ordered a soda) that she needed her ID as well. We get our drinks and she took our food orders with no problem, the food came out very quickly. She checked up on us once after we got our meals. I needed a box to take my food home and the guys wanted to order another drink. We waited probably about at LEAST ten minutes before we were even given boxes, and even then they were dropped off by another girl who was not our waitress. My boyfriend tried to make eye contact with her and put his hand up to try to get her attention to order his drink which she definitely ignored. We also saw her go to every one of her tables to check up on them except for us. It also took so long for us to even flag her down for us to get our check, because she did not ask if we needed it after we asked for boxes for the food. The check was not split by each couple so our friend paid for the whole bill while my boyfriend was going to grab the tip in cash, which, despite the poor service we were STILL going to tip over 20%. When the card reader was handed back to us, my friend had pressed the no tip button and the server made the most disgusted face and gave us a very monotone “thanks. Have a good weekend,” even though my boyfriend was taking out his wallet to grab the tip in cash. I used to be a server and I 100% understand that this is an incredibly stressful and taxing job. However, I NEVER would think about treating a group of people this way! I was incredibly disappointed that I had to write this but this was easily the WORST service I have EVER received at a restaurant in my entire life. I do not want to see this server get fired or reprimanded but I would like to see some changes because the food was so good and I do not want one negative experience to sour my opinion of...

Edited Update *Went to eat this past Thursday(2/20/25), there was only 1 table seated as we were the 2nd & only a few people at the bar. I ordered 1 of the specials from the menu(Brewery Banger) & my wife ordered smoked wings for her meal. Took much longer then normal for our meals to come out. A table that came in after us was eating before us along w/a patron at the bar. The Brewery Banger was very good, but messy! Please stop putting paper on the trays under the food! Nothing better then cutting your meal & eating the paper because it tears easily when saturated w/food.

We also noticed a few new waitresses there - we happen to get one of them(JC) - She definitely needs training! Walked by our table 4x's as my empty beer glass sat on the edge waiting for a refill! She could hardly be heard when speaking as she seemed to be whispering. Then when we received the bill she was in a hurry to collect payment as I was finishing my beer conversing w/my wife? Hopefully some of the seasoned waitresses can help train the newer ones. My hats off to them as I watched them still bust hump like they always have!

We will definitely return again, albeit it may be awhile but hopefully this was just 1 bad night.*

Great place, great food, great beers! We have eaten here multiple times & never had a bad experience! Everything we've eaten was EXCELLENT! So glad friends of ours turned us on to this place, it's one of our...

I cant speak to the food but Last Thursday night we went out and try the restaurant for the first time. We walked in and there was a customer already standing at the desk with no employee around. We stood there for about 10 minutes in which the bartender, and three of the wait staff looked directly at us without acknowledging us at all. We asked the guy who had been there before us if anyone had helped him and he said no. Another group came in that had never been there before( I know this because they commented on their surprise at how big it was inside) we waited another couple minutes with staff walking around completely ignoring us and the other customers staring at us and then we left. It's a large open area so needless to say it was extremely uncomfortable just standing there. I sent a courtesy email to the owner who also didn't respond.

I have never been in a restaurant where staff didn't even say hello, we'll be right with you or anyting no, just looked at us. And to add injury to insult my mom is elderly and was leaning on her cane as we stood there. Saying that you don't have the staff is not a good excuse when all of the staff saw you, and ignored you. Saying a hello to a customer shouldn't be something that they have to be...

This place is our go to now, the staff are awesome and the food have been incredible. Each time we've went it's been outstanding. I like to try a place a few times before I leave a review because I feel like it takes more than just one experience to give you a feel for the place. I highly recommend ordering the boneless chicken bites with the sweet chili sauce. They are absolutely amazing, as well as the hummus platter, we order both each time we go. I also recommend trying the grilled BBQ chicken, it's easily the best chicken I've ever had. Last night I also had the "house veggies" which at that point in the night were the carrots. I hate carrots, but these were amazing and I even asked the waitress for a second order because my girlfriend enjoyed them just as much. With that being said, if you're over 21 I would recommend the peach palmer, that's also really good. Overall they are doing absolutely everything correct, simple but delicious meal, great drinks, awesome staff. What more could you ask for when it comes to a reason to support a small local business over a restaurant chain? Will absolutely be back.

We visited Benny's in 2021 and this year in 2022. My husband and I first ordered a combination of BBQ and pizza (red garlic) and ever since then, my husband has not stopped raving about that pizza. We're not from the area, so when we passed through the town a year later, a stop at Benny's was a MUST. We were disappointed to learn that pizza has not been on their menu for months because they haven't been able to hire a pizza guy, and I think my husband was crushed. Please hire a pizza guy! The pizza was AMAZING! However, we both ordered ribs with sides and were not disappointed. I had a strawberry mojito that was delicious, too. My son ordered the chicken bites kid's meal and said the chicken was dry, so he split the ribs with me which he loved. I think I learned not to order kid's meals in restaurants especially when they are known for something amazing (like BBQ or pizza). We will return again in hopes of snagging that red garlic pizza ;)

We drive 45 minutes to visit Benny's and it is worth the drive from the Poconos. The pulled pork nacho appetizer could be a meal topped with tender pulled pork, onions, tomatoes, corn, jalapeños, and lime sour cream. The ham and cheese was excellent. Perfectly smoked ham served with Cooper Sharp cheese and banana peppers on a crispy outside and soft inside. Had the bib salad as a side and that never disappoints. My daughter had the pastrami sandwich which was tender and perfectly seasoned. MIL got the fish and chips which she enjoyed. It was a busy Saturday night. We sat at the bar and the service was outstanding for a busy night. Oh, can't forget the music. They played a variety and weren't too loud.
