Jk's Whisper Cafe — Restaurant in Hanover Township

This place is absolutely darling! It screams cozy up north café, with the dandelion decor to match. The service is friendly and the food is outstanding comfort food. I was absolutely stunned by the menu. It is extensive. And it seems to me that everything here is homemade. It tasted like it, too!

My husband and I both had the pollock and shrimp dinner. It was very good, and the coleslaw was out of this world. Of course, it was homemade! My husband had soup with his dinner, and it blew our minds it was so good. It was a beer cheese, bacon, and potato soup. Absolutely incredible!

Absolutely amazing food we live in Croton Michigan and we'll be taking the drive back up here just to try more of it. The atmosphere was great.. Very clean and very friendly waitstaff. Heather was very attentive and even alerted a costumer that she had accidentally left her purse. Great food.. Honest people and truly one of the best diners and meals we have had for the price in a very long time. Also the ginger ale is great.

Heather is a delight, very observant & hospitable. She met our every need & was very personable w-my 7 month old son & 70 year old in-laws. Heather is a pro working at a place that, lets just say is very lucky to have her😲 The food however is bland & greasy. Get some seasoning back there & clean your flat top & grill more regularly. I had a Belgian waffle that tasted like cardboard. Add an extra egg to your recipe to make them more fluffy. Vanilla extract works wonders as well 😉but then again it was prolly just a box mix (hence the cardboard taste) & not actually made by hand & for about $5 too daaang! Lesson learned for this...
