Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Hanover Township

Worst pizza hut that we have ever been to. Date July4th. We arrived at 630pm. We waited 20 minutes to be seated, 8 of us. A waiter/server asked what drinks we wanted....50 minutes pass..no drinks or menus. I go up to counter to remind them...and they bring our drinks. Another 1/2 hour passes..no menus and no order asked to be placed. Thena server , i think , gary, asked if we placed an order, we said no. So he put one in for us. He then came back ....were out of chicken for pizza, and tea.About 8pm. A " manager" comes to the table and says she is sorry. There short handed and there is a lot going on in the kitchen. We order some family thing....2 pizza,drink,breadsticks...at 830pm , we got the pizza (4), never got the 2 orders of breadsticks. On top of it all we found out they closes the dinning room down at 7pm. ( explains why only one other table) thats why it was hard to understand what was going on. The manager came back over about 845pm and said she took 30% off the bill..my mouth dropped! I worked at a major food chain. After a 2+ hour wait, we would have compt the entire bill. I took the bill up front to pay, and ask for a phone number...she pulled it out of my hand and said " I'LL TAKE CARE OF THAT." I understand being short handed, plus being a holiday. It seems this hut has these problems a lot. Maybe it's time to only be open certain days/times. If you can't staff, something has to be done. I feel bad for...

Hear me out. Loudonville Ohio is a small town and is a mixture of hippie/bougie. With the Mohican River and the Campers, our few restaurants get hit hard in the summer. We love our tourists, but also, 😭. It's hot outside, people are tired. I just got off my 10hr shift in a sweaty factory lifting lumber. The last thing I want to do is cook. I ordered online- bc ya know. People- ugh. BUT- it went seamlessly. I wait my 20mins and use the drive-thru pick-up window. Someone immediately walked to the window, welcoming me to Pizza Hut and asked for my name. The teamwork! While 1 handled the register, the one in the back eavesdroped and got my name & order. They looked me up, and I had my order within maybe 25 seconds! I got home dreading the 3hr old chewy boneless wings and thinking my chicken alfredo would be dry- bc who doesn't overcook food so when a rush hits, you get customers in/ out asap. To my surprise, it was PERFECTION. The food was hot and fresh! The breading on the chicken had a fresh crisp, the chicken actually seamed like meat, the flavor of the 3 sauces we got, the pasta... it was soo good, and the breadsticks were fresh and delish! It was all sooooo good, I went back the next day. AGAIN PERFECTION! Right now, I'm thinking of my next trip. This hasn't been the case in the past. Actually, Pizza Hut may have been a last resort bc the quality was lacking. But these 2 back-to-back visits, has me hooked....

Good food, poor service. Party of 3. Walked in at 1:20. Had to wait for a table to be cleaned off. After seated we tried to order the lunch buffet, which is advertised as being available until 1:30. Server said it was too late and the buffet had already been closed. So we didn't argue and just ordered something else. Clock still said 1:27 after we ordered.

While waiting for food, another family sat next to us and placed their order. A few minutes later we watched our order get delivered to their table. Kids dove into the cheese sticks before the mom noticed the pizza wasn't what they ordered. We managed to get our pizza to our table, but still had no plates. Had to go get some from the salad bar so we could start eating. Waiter eventually came over and we were able to alert him to the mix-up. Our replacement cheese sticks arrived just as we finished devouring the pizza.

Meanwhile some locals came in and helped themselves to the buffet.

After finishing, we waited and waited for our check. Finally, I went to the counter to pay. They had to find our check in a stack of 10 or so. Receipt printer mangled the receipt, so I just signed in a couple different places.

The buffet was still there with people eating from it. We walked outside to find a dead bird next to a bench. Seemed...
