Shelly's Echo Inn — Restaurant in Happy Valley

Small bar, BIG service. The staff are amazing, the food is epic!! It has got to be one of the most unassuming places. I had heard good things about the food for a while, and we finally made it down to try. Y'all... for real... they got them a magician in the kitchen. The burgers are huge and absolutely divine, they make a steak on Fridays that is about as thick as your arm and some of the best beef I've tasted... and cooked to perfection. They use quality ingredients from a local butcher and man oh man is it noticeable. Their salads are no slouch either. I was in need of a break from the norm and had their Cobb the other day. The chicken was cooked fresh and still hot as the salad came out. I'm thrilled that we love close by and can take advantage of their various daily specials also. My husband had beef stroganoff the other day that was just like mom used to make. Don't be like us... don't wait any longer. If you've been thinking about stopping...

We have passed up this pub several times in Carver Oregon. We finally decided to stop and see what it is about. Food is standard pub food. Burgers, sandwiches and fried fish. We ordered the clubhouse sandwich and fish n chips. Both were very tasty. Huge portion. Drinks were margarita and I had a beer on tap. Beer was not as cold as I liked. Chilled glass was used but was not a cold glass. My wife said the margarita was standard pub margarita. It was not busy as we were there on a Sunday afternoon. Inside bar was pretty full spnwe decided to sit on there deck. There was no server and we were told you order at the bar and they would bring it out. Food was quickly made and served If biker type bars scare you this might not be for you. While this is not a BIKER bar, it does have a lot of riders there. My wife and I both ride so non-issue for us. Prices were reasonable.

This place is great! They have everything you can ask for. Great service. Amazing food. Tasty drinks. Awesome patio. Great views. Televisions. Cooks that know a thing or two. I'm craving the country fried steak as I write this. So if you're reading this and thinking of going somewhere for breakfast, they serve it everyday I believe before 1. They have some of the best meat in the county, all coming from my local favorite - Whites Meat. If you like gravy on your steak. Then I suggest getting it on side so you get to eat it straight outta the bowl, It's so freaking good! What more can you ask for, cheap drinks and great food and even better people. Whoever posted about the 2 drink minimum was probably drunk AF so they were doing you a favor bud and didn't want you to drive in the clackamas...
