At the recommendation of my husbands co-worker, we ate here for the first time. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I had an Italian beef sandwich with regular fries. My husband had a cheese burger with regular fries. My Italian beef was just ok but not as good as Windsor Pizza Parlor in Loves Park. My husband really enjoyed his cheese burger which was a 1/2 pound Angus burger for nearly the same price you pay for a 1/4 pound regular burger at other places. Both of our sides of fries were the regular style fries and were cooked perfectly. We will return again and my husband will likely have another burger & fires. I recently made it out to visit this bar for the first time, and I had a great experience! It's a relatively small bar with some available outdoor seating, and it has a very local neighborhood feel to it. Thursday night is steak night where you can get your choice of two or three cuts of steak, choice of potato, Soup or salad, and fried bread for less than 25 bucks.
