They got the food for thought 2022 award. We came for the first time, waited almost an hour for two tacos to go. Just goes to show that, just because you have a clean kitchen doesn’t mean that you have good service or good food. Very disappointed in the restaurant. We wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody unless you have all the Time in the world and You don’t worried about the quality of the food.

Read moreDon’t let the junkyard next door or the outside appearance make you pass this place up, this is an authentic fonda with real traditional flavor! The inside is clean and filled with charming Mexican décor. Being so close to the Mexican border, this spot was exactly what we were hoping for. The migas were excellent and the homemade flour tortillas were absolute perfection. Even the clay dishes they use added to the authenticity and overall experience. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back next time we’re...
