Today we went with a party of 5 with 2 children (8 &11). We had the shrimp lettuce wrap, pork bites (teriyaki), barbacoa tacos, Philly cheesesteak, chicken Alfredo, cheese burger & fries, butternut squash soup, and the white chocolate mousse dessert. EVERYTHING was pure BLISS! Our standards for food are high due to us being foodies that regularly cook for our families. We were immediately greeted by the most lovely cheerful man behind the counter upon entering ready to give recommendations. Then we heard the cook singing (wish he’d been a little louder), so we got dinner and a show! ♥️ The ambiance was absolutely amazing, the food was even more amazing than the ambience (not sure how they did it, but they did)! This was BY FAR the BEST experience we’ve EVER had in any food establishment…EVER. The Chicken Alfredo was the BEST I’ve ever had ANYWHERE! The noodles were even homemade! I cannot express how heart happy this place made us all! If you think this place is steep in price, I promise it is worth every penny and then some! 100% will come back! Even if for just a day trip (2hr45min drive ea way). This place is a MUST! Sorry there’s not more pics, we definitely delved into the whole experience quickly!

7/13/2024 - We came to eat here after visiting Niagara Cave. I wasn't expecting too much as it's a small town, but the food did not disappoint. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I got the Pull Pork Nachos and Gabby Burger. My wife got just a regular Hamburger. I didn't know what to expect when reading that the gabby burger has blackberry jam, but I wanted to try something different. It actually tasted great; it was flavorful with hints of spiciness from the jalapeno relish. The size of the burger was also good size. My only complaint is that bun was soggy. As I try holding it, the bun was too soggy and would just come apart. The Nacho was good, has lots of flavor and tasted great too. I did notice that a group sitting in the corner were waiting for their food for a while. One person already finished his bowl, while the other two people were still waiting for their food. They did eventually get their food, but it seems a little slow. Overall, a good place to eat.

Great place to eat and entertain friends! It's become one of our favorites to take out of town guests to (and we are 50 miles away.) The food is always great and plentiful portions. With the expanded outdoor seating is even better! We enjoyed live music (the owner/ chef) even played a couple songs.) We've tried most of the sandwiches, the bowls and a couple of the salads. We never leave without ordering the Pork Nuggets (no questions, just order them! ) and we TRY to save room for dessert as the chocolate bread pudding is amazing (like everything else has been! ) We also have gotten great service every time we've visited. Truly near the very top of our list when we are going out! Keep up the great work!

Our experience was quite different than what we had read in reviews. Our first time there, we want to be able to give it another chance because it is a small business in a small town but that's hard to swallow when your bill is over $50.

First, they need to clean the taps on their beer. The beer tasted so nasty. Our party each had different kinds so it wasn't any one beer specifically, it was all of them. So gross.

Two of us had a bowl, one chicken and one veggie. The rice was so gross it was like paste. The majority of the bowl is rice so you can imagine trying to choke that down. On the upside, the veggies were well roasted and seasoned and the chicken was grilled and seasoned well. The sauces in the bowl may have been good but it was too difficult to tell because the rice was seriously like glue. Nasty.

One person had shrimp Alfredo. The shrimp was grilled perfectly, that is definitely a plus! The Alfredo sauce has a bit of smokey taste to it and it was a good consistency. At $25 a plate, it is certainly overpriced for what it is. However, we do believe supporting small business when we can is important so it is a dish that we would consider ordering if we were to visit there and try to support them again. From our experience when we were all there, it was the only thing that was decent.

The last dish was shrimp lo mein. It was a special on the board and was not on the regular menu. We aren't sure how it could be dry yet the noodles were mushy at the same time. The sauce was essentially like burnt soy sauce, if you can imagine that. It was not good. The texture was so bizarre because even though the noodles were soft, it was dry? But again, the shrimp were grilled well but the sauce on them from the lo mein really ruined them.

It was freezing in the restaurant. A few of us left our coats on while others used their coats as a blanket on their lap.

We were a table of four and there were two people seated at the bar counter, there were six people in total working that we saw yet we still had a hard time getting anybody to come to the counter or to check on us. (You go up to a counter to order) The service was very dull, I wouldn't say necessarily rude but dull. No hello, no how are you guys doing, no explanation when we asked a question about the special on the board, it was just very dull and at times unhelpful.

In their reviews, this place was listed at $10 to $20 per person. There isn't a single thing on the menu (other than the drink menu) for $10. We had four people, two separate checks. We each had ordered one beer (that we all said tasted "skunk", "bad", etc. And the staff member just said "ok"), and a dinner entree. One couple's check was $62 and one was $55. Yes, we did go up to the counter to let them know the beer was bad. (Response was "ok") Yes, we did go up to the counter about the rice bowls (response was "I'm sorry, thanks for letting me know"). I am not saying there is anything wrong with those responses, each business can do what they want but that doesn't mean my expectations align with theirs.

Overall, we think we will go back and try them during their busier season. Maybe things will taste fresher or better? We do want to support small town businesses so we will give them another chance, if it goes well I will...

We had lunch at Estelle's last September and we were so impressed with the food and service and we couldn't wait to go back again the next time we were in the area. We made it back this past May and at first we were confused by the new way of ordering the food at the counter. But we figured that Estelle's, like all other restaurants, were having problems getting enough help so they found a way to cut down on servers. The food on that visit was just okay. But when we went back in June the food wasn't as good at all! In fact their restaurant made potato chips were stale and some were actually soft. They were pretty bad! We had to wait almost 45 minutes for our food. It was a long lunch. One of the servers instead of tending to business was actually dancing around while she tried to do her work. Really unprofessional! And if you have to use the restroom while you're at Estelle's plan on waiting. There's only one bathroom for everyone to use. People were lined up outside the bathroom and into the sitting area. The food is very expensive at Estelle's and at our first visit we didn't mind so much because everything was so good. But after getting subpar food the last two visits we'll never go back again The real kicker is when a person orders their food at the counter they are given an option at check out if they want to give a tip. I'm guessing if they waited until after the customers got their food they wouldn't leave any tips so they try to catch you for a...

We have always done take out because of our hectic schedule and never had any issues, bit yesterday we went in to sit down.we were a little confused at first cause no one explained how we were supposed to order bit no big deal.we ordered and got our food, the carnasda fries were wonderful as always, bit my burger was way overcooked these things happen.the problem started though when I sat there for 15 minutes and no one even came by to check on us,I finally went up to the host stand to ask for some assistance ,the manger came over and I explained what happened, she offered to have another made which was fine and she did wonderful, my three biggest issues were though if you are going to charge 17 dollars for a burger and fries you should have a fresh burger patty not a 1/8 preformed patty from Sysco, also staff needs to be educated on food safety basics like cutting bar fruit and not eating it in front of customers and then not washing your hands and then putting away clean dishes, changing gloves between tasks such as playing with your hair.some of this is basic food safety and could cause someone to become sick.overall food was 6 out of 10, customer service was 1 out of 10.manager on duty was great.place would be a great date night venue but prices are not condusive for the small town...
