Captain Joe's Hand battered southern fried — Restaurant in Harper Woods

So I wanted to wait after a few visit to give Captain Joe’s a fair review since they were newly opened. My very first meal was the ocean perch with Cajun fries and everything was overly seasoned to the point where I couldn’t eat it. Again this was their grand opening so I didn’t hold this against them. My second visit I got some fried chicken and fries and it still had a little to much seasoning for my liking but the chicken taste really good and I wanted to like them because the chefs are really professional and puts the customers first. That being said I had the smash burger with their homemade sauce and the catfish po boy sandwich and both were the best I have had in a long time. All around a great little spot with all around excellent food in my opinion, I like this spot because I’m close and I get enjoy the food I like the most such as their catfish I keep buying, but I do highly recommend the original smash burger there, just tried it and it was amazing haven’t ate a burger like that in a minute, thank you for the good service and care I hope you two workers in there blessed for the long haul in that spot.
