Yoshi Hibachi Grille East — Restaurant in Harper Woods

I will say this first, it is just a startup location so it will need time. Now, I'll start with the pros. The food is good. The workers are respectful and friendly. Now the cons, for the hibachi triple, your barley getting enough of one of the meats you buy (you barely get any chicken along with steak and shrimp). You get plain rice with the order but charged for chicken fried rice (I'm already getting chicken, why would I get charged for more)? The wait time is a kind of long as I went to the gas station and family Dollar up the street which took about 40 mins (they we're supposed to call when it was ready but never did). Finally, can the cashiers not let me wait when my food is ready and not say anything. Me and my friend ordered our food at the same time and both of our food was ready but he still had to wait even though it was right there and his cashier didn't anything for nearly 15 mins, meaning the food sat and became cold. I do believe they will get better but they need to sort things out.

Edit: I decided to give this location a second try after nearly a year later. It's worse than the first experience. The cashier was highly rude when I wanted to get the hibachi triple, screaming we don't have shrimp so no... I went with the double ($20), ended up paying nearly $40 all together (apparently you're charged for a lot of stuff if you want it on the order or side now). This place has shady tactics and the fact that customer service is terrible, not even worth spending a...

Ok I just literally walked in the house after coming from Yoshi East and its 8pm on Tues Jan 15th and if I wasn't tired from grocery shopping, I would take my order right back up there.....so i walked in and the couple in front of me told me to go ahead of them so I placed my order and the young lady said 20 mins.....well I waited and waited and the couple who ordered behind me and and they had 3 orders got their food first.....then the young lady that ordered after them got her food before me....so by then I stood up cause my food should have been ready.....now I have been really geeked to support this black business only to get home to greasy, cold, chicken rice and I didn't even order chicken rice.....I'm so disappointed and then to stop by a restaurant that's not even completely finished is scary....and I had to wait for rice that wasn't what I expected it to be......so I gave it a shot but probably won't be back.....I posted a picture of how the food looked and how we left it on the stove.....The fish wasn't bad, it was actually good but just disappointed my whole meal wasn't as good....But Yoshi is good and I'm sure they have room for...

The girl placing the order (with short red hair) was rude and rushed us thru the ordering process eventhough we were the only people there. She repeatedly asked my name and phone number but still wrote my number wrong. 😞 After we ordered I saw why. She couldnt wait to get back on the phone with her male friend to see if he wanted her to bring him something to eat when she got off at 10pm. She was so loud in her conversation with him about not wanting to cook him breakfast that I asked my son if he wanted to go out and wait in the car. As far as the food goes, it was bland and expensive. I had to add my own seasoning from home. I can't say I will...
