If you are wondering if it is worth driving down to the tip of Orr's Island for the Salt Cod Cafe, just do it. We tried the clam and the fish chowder. Both were great and if you are unclear on how these chowders differ, now's your chance to see how it's done and compare. If you are a scone aficionado or would like to be, this is place to go. Easily the best scones I have ever had, which agrees with the local consensus. It appears from other reviews that wait times can be long. This was not our experience, but it's good to arrive at an off time and not be in a hurry. It's a picturesque location...enjoy the scenery...

I wish I had taken a picture...cheese slice was about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide and one tiny piece of turkey smaller than the cheese.
