I will be craving this dinner again for a long time. So expect me back even though my home is almost 3 hours away. Chips…fresh, crispy, proper thickness. Salsa good. Actually also brought a small thin but tasty queso with the chips. Had to ask but they also had a spicier jalapeño based roasted one. Margarita was balanced and very good. I ordered the spiciest dish on the menu. Spice makes me happy! Tavo dinner and I added the shrimp. Swapped rice for the papas and charro beans instead of refried. This dish! SO GOOD! Beef tips and the shrimp smothered in some magical red sauce. Is it spicy? Yes! Perfect!! If I’m guessing about ingredients…chipotle, jalapeño, habanero, citrus. Dang I want to know what it is! I’ll be back! Kaiya served us and she was prompt, friendly and very good! Just a tiny hit for the only flaw I could find…only hard wood chairs, no cushion.

This is the third time we've tried this place.. first time I believe I had tacos, they weren't too bad. Second time I got the chicken enchiladas, again, not terrible but the chicken tasted suspiciously like canned chicken breast that was doctored up. This time I got the guiso verde... hands down the worst "guiso" I've ever had.. The sauce was greasy and bland, the meat was supposedly pork, but it was so dried out and rubbery that I couldn't tell what it was and I wasn't about to take a second bite to try and figure it out. Everything on the plate seemed like it's been refrigerated and microwaved over and over for days... I've also never seen rice from any Mexican restaurant or home that has frozen mixed vegetables and lima beans in it..There's nothing authentically Mexican or good about any of the food I had tonight...

Nice place, minimal decor, spacious seating, 1 tv at the bar. Each table has their own napkin dispenser Staff was nice, waitress checked on me 2 times after bringing my meal. Chips were nice but unsalted I got salsa and complimentary queso that a lot of places charge you for now. Chimichanga was good. Seemed on the smaller side but it was rolled super tight filled with chicken and cheese. Refried beans and rice were as expected, nothing super fancy. Paid $16 with a water not including tip. 8/10 My only real negative about this place is the booths on the south side of the restaurant. They are hollow so I was unfortunate enough to have 2 families on opposite sides of me with kids that would kick the booth which amplifies it ALOT.

So this will be a rant and a rave. I work in the food industry as a server and manager so I tend to be more judgmental. My husband and I met up for lunch here today. While waiting for him to arrive, I went inside to get a table. I was immediately greeted by the busses. He was the only employee in the dining area at that time. He told me to wait just a moment, and then went to get the right staff to seat me. As soon as he told another coworker that I needed a table, he was met with rude hostility by the male bartender. The bartender yells at him, in front of customers, to go back to what he was doing and mind his own business. This busser was extremely kind and did not deserve that. My next rant is on the server. There was only 3 tables in restaurant occupied and we were her only table. Because I am a server, my family will try and tell our sever everything that we will need to limit his/her trips. My husband asked for no guacamole, extra napkins and more chips and salsa. Guacamole was on the plate, had to ask 3 times for napkins and when she returned the plate without guacamole, it was then missing 3/4 of the Pico. So we had to ask for more Pico. She did a good job, but cost herself lots of trips because she seemed to eager to be doing something else. I still tipped her 50% because I get that we have off days. Lots of raves on the food. My husband ordered lunch fajitas and loved them. He is a hard man to please and he left very pleased with amount and quality of food. I had an asada burrito with Verde sauce. My meal was so delicious and flavorful! I love Mexican food and was impressed with all of the food and salsa. Overall it was pleasant visit. I would suggest that servers try to give guests more of an experience than just serving food. It will build you a family of regulars! We will...

I liked this restaurant overall. Here are some I would have liked to have known before going:

Menu: A good selection of different entrees to meet a variety of tastes. I would consider their food to be more toward authentic mexican vs tex-mex.

Meat: Very flavorful meat options for certain entrees. One of those entrees is a burrito plate. I got a burrito with asada meat...quite good. They also have carnitas and al pastor meat options that I am interested in trying.

Chips: Their chips are thin and crispy, like I like them.

Salsa: They only serve salsa, no cheese unless you order it for a cost. Their salsa is thin, liquidy, with very little chunks...not my favorite at all. They do have a "hotter" salsa, which I liked a lot. It will cost you a couple of bucks.

Rice and beans: Nothing special here; just refried beans and rice.

Portion sizes: Decent portion sizes but not huge.

Sopapillas: No "free" sopapillas. Each will cost you a couple of bucks.

Decor: Don't expect much here. This restaurant is in a strip center, decorated very sparsely, with just open tables.

The wife got the four enchilada platter with ground beef, shredded chicken and cheese. We didn't ask, but you might be able to get their special meat options here for a upgrade cost. We will go back but I think there are...

Just went they were not very busy at all no wait to be seated however we ordered two small meals to go rather than dining in. We waited 58 minutes for a Chile relleno meal and a fajita meal with a side chicken enchilada. The staff ignored us repeatedly giving no reason it was taking so long and once we finally received the food we were told there was only one cook but we hoped at least it would be worth the wait. Nothing was edible and my husband will eat about anything the relleno was so soggy and wet from the super liquid salsa they dumped in the to go box the beans were literally liquid as well couldn't pick up with a fork nothing had seasoning at all and the enchilada was soaking wet soggy and not good either. The only thing we could eat after 57$ and an hour wait was a small chorizo queso we got so we had something to eat. Would never return here and don't understand how people are saying it's such amazing food unless something drastic changed recently. Very disappointed in so much money and time wasted and still don't...
