This place has become a staple for myself and friend group, it's a really good ride on a motorcycle if you get here taking OH-105/Portage River Rd. Probably only roads in the area with enough curves to have fun on.
The food is farm-to-table, all locally sourced ingredients and prepped in the kitchen. The prices are also very good, if you're from Michigan they have Stroh's beer which is a nice touch. Chicken chunks are sold by weight instead of by piece so you know you're getting your money's worth.
I travel domestically and internationally for work and this place has some of the best subs and chicken chunks you can get here in the US. Pizza is top-tier but it is a bit different: sauce is sparse but tasty, the toppings go in the middle and cheese is melted on top over the toppings. It is great, but it's not a style everyone likes, try it for yourself.
Not-so-great: The venue is fairly big and if it gets packed the kitchen slows to a crawl as there is limited oven space. Both pizzas and subs go through the oven and that is the kitchen bottle-neck.

Read moreI'm standing in the bar staring at my to go order of chicken chunks - 1 pound of hot garlic parmesean with ranch. There's a plastic spoon on top, because they're all out of forks. A spoon for chicken chunks? I asked the rude young bartender how she proposed I should eat my chunks and she said "I dunno - it's a to go order. You don't get forks at McDonald's." And walked away. She just now told me to eat them with my fork at home. I'm not from here - i was taking my lunch to my gun club down the road. She told me to go to Dollar General and get forks. Worthless. I've been here weekly since I discovered their chunks, but I'll...
