My experience was very under par. First of all when arriving I stood at the counter for 4 minutes watching crew members stroll around not really doing much of anything, but not taking my order either. Finally one walked up and took my order. I ordered 2 breakfast meals, that's all. I looked at my ticket and phone for the time as I was on my way to work. Time was 10:04. As I was waiting I noticed a young lady working and her finger nails, they were bright colored and extremely long fake. Which really made me squeamish knowing what lies up under fake nails and how hard they are to keep clean. She was serving food and had no gloves to protect the nail paint, particles from underneath, or even nail itself from falling into food, ice, bags, etc. On top of that, and still waiting now being over 10 minutes now, I was trying to let someone know how long I had been waiting but was being ignored. I was confused for the store was not busy at all. 2 people received their food before me and no cars through the drive thru. So I received my food at 10:18, I quickly grabbed my bag and went to rush out since I'm now running late, the girl made the comment "oh you ain't gotta be snatching stuff", almost trying to start a fight with me!! Which I had waiting a very long time and was running out the door, not snatching anything. But could not believe she had the nerve to make such comment when she had NO sense of urgency or care in the world for any customer and took so long to get me my food. So now have food and was shocked that everything was at room temperature, as for the long wait I expected it to be fresh and hot. At this point I became very nervous to eat the food at all it not being remotely warm as I do not want be become ill from food poisoned. So after just a couple bites in determining the condition of my food, I threw everything in the trash but the orange juice i ordered with the 2 meals. Read moreWe went to the Burger King on Cameron Street in Harrisburg and had not as great of an experience there. The other Burger Kings we have visited have been pleasant. We arrived after ordering from the app. When we arrived in the drive thru, for the first time ever at this or any other Burger King, we were told that we had to come in to pick up our orders because you can only pick up one order in the drive thru. Because of a point contest going on and we both had offers we wanted to use, both of us placed a separate order. We both have physical difficulties, and because of this, we choose drive thru as our option. If we would have known, we would have only placed one order instead of two. My husband drove around to the handicap parking and it was a very steep incline to get to the parking spot. It is level, but very steep to get to. Once in, I was told that they were out of the biscuits we had ordered, but they were able to change to the croissant. This was fine and I could easily see how busy they had been because of a huge event going on across the street from them. The food tasted good. The staff was pleasant to talk to. I did let them know that having to come in after placing the order for drive thru was difficult for us because of the difficulty of walking both my husband and I have. I went in since it's easier for me to walk. I would have liked there to have been a sign when picking up in drive thru or if even better on the app specifically for their store, letting people know that you can only pick up one order at the drive thru. Read moreOn April 25th, 2021 around 4:30PM, I was working as a delivery driver, and I was at this store to pick up food for a customer. I came to the drive through speaker and told the customer service the name of the customer I was picking for. Immediately, the manager responded in a very rude way “you have to come inside to pick up the food.” At that time one car pulled behind my car. I told her that put she said “if you can’t back up then wait until all cars leave and park your car and come in.” It took so long to reach the window, and I saw no one was wiring mask properly including the manager, most of them don’t have masks. I told her to give me the food or cancel the order. She refused and acted like she don’t care about me and the other customers behind me. She delayed the order for all customers for more then half hour. I asked her too many times to cancel the order or give it to me so I can leave. She wanted to force me to come inside by holding the order. At the end, she called the police on me. The police came and asked me to pull to the parking, and he was very mad at me.
