Bentley's Roadhouse — Restaurant in Harrison Township

What a bummer. 1st our waitress was nowhere to be found for 15 mins after we were sat, with the booth next to us vocally complaining about the same thing. After finally taking our order it must've been another 10 minutes at least before our soup and salad made its way out. Waitresses words, "I was waiting on clean spoons" and then proceeded to bring my daughter a flimsy plastic to go spoon to eat her French onion soup rather than a clean one she just told us she ( and us) had been waiting on. An exercise in futility against the glorious layer of cheese that adorns French onion... We ordered the mozzarella sensations and fried mushrooms for appetizers, while the mushrooms came out fine, the mozzarella sensations came out with half of them still ice cold inside and with fully raw spots, of course flipped over so we didn't see them until we bit into one. When I mentioned it to my waitress, she made a comment about that "not being right" and snatched the plate up and took off without asking me or telling me what was to happen with them. Then a different waitress comes out mid meal, a solid 15 minutes later to bring us them, that had been cooked a 2nd time ..not remade. Again...i wasn't given an option, and since we were already done with apps and eating our entrees i politely declined them. Our entrees were the chicken piccatta. The chicken was good, a very small portion of rice on the plate , rather than the chicken being served "over rice" as described on the menu and the rice being overcooked to bloated mush. The sauce saved that one tbh....the chicken was cooked really well, not dry, not over Seared, really really good actually. The full rack of ribs were so mushy it was far for beyond "fall off the bone" and 1/3 of my full slab was just blobs of soggy meat. Sad.

Then we get the bill only to have someone's elses pizza rang in on our tab, and have to wait further to get the waitress back to us and have it corrected.

Really really disappointed in this visit. To the point where I have to question if it is...

We decided to stop in and grab dinner at Bentley’s , it looked busy as we pulled in. We wernt really sure what the inside would be like based on the outside. The inside was a cool bar and grill , I like that the bar area is separated from the dining area. Even though you can eat in both.

We started with the fried mushrooms and they were good. Definitely would get again For dinner I ordered the bentley burger medium with fries and my wife ordered the chicken with the chips. The burger was ridiculous, first it’s actual real hamburger and not a frozen patty, the burger was incredibly juicy and on a Breosche bun. The only thing stopping this burger from being a 10 is it needs a burger sauce. I’d still 100% get it again though lol. My wife said the grilled chicken sandwich was great, it was juicy and had good flavor.the chips are made in house and we both really liked them!

Our servers name was Brandi, she was great the entire night. We found her funny, lighthearted, prompt and personable. She was on top of our order, checking on us and getting us refills. Top notch service and would request her again if we could.

Definitely a spot we want to come back to and try...

Went here on February 6th. They make it look like they're following COVID safety regulations at the front dining area but in the back bar area they are not even trying. The front dining area has dividers between the booths and a lot of the servers are wearing masks and wearing them correctly. However, our server had hers under her nose the entire time and kept pulling it down to her chin to get right into people's faces to talk to them. The bar area is horrible though. There are no spaces between bar stools and everyone is jammed right next to eachother, not wearing masks. One bartender had her mask on her chin. The other had some weird half plastic chin shield that wasn't doing anything. The tables in the bar area were nowhere near 6 feet apart, most about 1-2ft, and they were packed with people. I liked the food, it was an acceptable price for it, but we will not be back. The needs of the restaurant owners have been put above the safety of our community. My husband was attacked on our local facebook group for daring to mention this lack of COVID safety. Apparently they have a lot of loyal customers and...
