Marino's of Mullica Hill — Restaurant in Harrison Township

I come here often with my family. We do so for the atmosphere and the food but certainly not for the prices or the service. When an order is brought to the table, it is done as items become available. This means that half our party is usually done eating before the other half actually gets their food. A couple of times, the 2nd half of our order was never delivered to the table and we ended up taking it home to finish. Yesterday it took several trips to the counter to get our complete meal as well as the utensils and plates necessary to eat it. This was not due to a lack of staff behind the counter. There seem to be plenty of folks there, but none of them seem interested in helping after an order has been taken.

Update 3/8/2019. I'm knocking another star off my review. I went to Marinos again last night on a date with my wife. After placing our order and waiting 25 minutes for our salads, I went to the counter to discover that our order never even made it to the kitchen. This place has some serious process issues. This marks the 4th time that they've messed things up for us. It's time for me to look for a different place to eat.

Marino's has the best wings I have ever had. The texture and crispiness are perfect. They aren't soggy like other places. Their pizza is great and so are their sandwiches, particularly the Italian and turkey hoagies and the chicken picante sandwich. Delicious. I would consider Marino's a high-end, high-quality pizzeria. The service is wonderful! They work really hard to satisfy the customers. The place is also always clean. Don't listen to the negative reviews. The bad reviews I've read sound like they come from people who come in when the place is really busy (it's a popular place so they can get mobbed) and aren't treated like the royalty they think they are or they take exception to some mundane detail to their order that was missed. Definitely doesn't justify a bad review and mistakes are always rectified. Some people just aren't happy unless they're complaining about something. I've never had a problem, the food is great and I love it there. I hope this place stays around for a long time because ordering there has become part of my Friday night ritual. My go to for take out dinner has always been Marinos. They do a military discount and the food has always been pretty decent. However, after tonight my thoughts about this place has completely changed. I ordered delivery and got 1 cheesesteak with mushrooms, 1 chicken avocado salad, and 1 regular cheesesteak. When the order was delivered, they had made both cheesesteaks with mushrooms. My son is allergic so I called them to let them know that they need to really be careful with food orders like that because he could have ended up in the hospital. The young girl on the phone said “um okay”. They offered to deliver another cheesesteak and we waited an hour and a half! It was past 9pm, they had already closed, and no one ever came to deliver my son his dinner. EXTREMELY RUDE AND DISHONEST! How are you going to tell me that you will deliver another cheesesteak and NEVER show up?! My son had to eat a hot pocket for dinner and was not even able to eat with the family.
