So today I ordered online through the app which had what I believed was a good deal for the McCrispy.. plus mayo, extra pickles (no option to add lettuce and tomato)
I had never had one before and so I thought since the price was decent what a better time than today to try one. The app did not give me the option to add lettuce and tomato and so when I pulled up to the speaker at the drive thru to give the attendant my order number I asked to add lettuce and tomato and explained the app did not give me the option. I was asked to pull forward to the window. The first window was a kindly elderly woman who asked me if I would like a copy of my receipt, as this is a work meal I did and so said yes and was told to have a wonderful day and pull forward.
All was well so far.. then I pulled to the pickup window..
The window slid open to a younger woman who said absolutely nothing, just handed me a bag..
"Thanks!" I attempted to get out before the window slid closed again.. and opened my bag to find this (see picture)
NOTE so it seems I cannot add a picture here, if I am able to I will, if not it is basically a McChicken with ONE pickle and a slathering of Mayo (definitely not regular) with ZERO lettuce and tomato.. very nasty looking, almost cold.. like seriously?
Is THIS what we can expect from McDonalds service?? I gotta say I would rather eat at Chick Fila and here is why, service with a SMILE, basic decent human interaction, and when you ASK for your food that you pay for to be made a certain way you get it!
In the grand scheme of things is it that really as big of a deal as it seems right now?
Yes! Customer Service should be at its absolute PEAK in 2024.. and WE MUST start holding these billionaire corporations accountable to it or start shutting them down.
It is far too important to allow poor customer service to ever gain a foothold.
I hope my experience for this location was unique and not a constant .. guess we shall see.
On a sidenote, even in spite of the lack of service and accompanying condiments the sandwich itself was very tasty.. so there was at least that on the...

It took me multiple times to explain my order in drive thru, get to window & have to change the 1 drink cause it was wrong. The girl went over the order with me again 2 more times. Not that confusing. We get the order & weâre 1 sandwich short! Then had to pull over for them to bring out the sandwich 10mins later. Had to eat our fries while waiting cause they were Luke warm to begin with. I know itâs easy to get confused but when you have 4 sandwiches the same & 1 different it shouldnât be that hard.    Read moreI dont go to fast food often, but I had two grandkids and we were running late for cheer practice. It was around 4:40-5pm. We waited in line at the drive through. The line was backed up to the highway. Slow moving. Finally placed our order. Got our food, the girl didnt say thank you. When I got to the stoplight nearby, my granddaughter asked for her chicken nuggets. They weren't there. I had paid for them. So I drove back around and ended up having to park and go inside since the drive through was backed up again. I waited after one person and they gave me the missing 10 PC chicken nuggets.
