Sandbar — Restaurant in Harrison Township

I walked into Sandbar today at 4 minutes after 5pm. There wasn't a table in the restaurant with the exception of a few people at the bar. We sat there for 9 minutes while the bartender looked at us but made no effort to ask us if we needed anything or find a server to wait on us. Once the clock reached 5:15, we had already decided that we wouldn't be staying, but chose to wait around just to see how long it would take for someone to finally acknowledge us. That's when a family of 4 walked in and sat at the table behind us. They were greeted immediately by a waitress. Ok, by this point .. we literally could not believe what was happening. Finally a waitress came over with some menus and we told her how long we had been sitting there. She clearly had no idea how to handle that type of situation. So, we told her that we had only stayed and waited out of pure curiosity.

Normally this place isn't bad, they have really good food. The cooks do a fantastic job EVERY time we come. Unfortunately though, we have yet to have good service.

Usually the girls are too preoccupied with their regulars or friends to provide diligent and adequate service. Maybe it is because their clothes are so tight that they have a hard time concentrating but who knows!?

Went through a bad break up myself looking for a bar to sit in my sorrows instead I find a manager name Crystal who stole my heart just listening to me vent meant more to me then what most people have to offer then I got to know Amanda who is all about her family has Kids and Identify with myself. Cassie is such a hard worker I’ve never seen anybody work so hard I work in sales myself I wanted to recruiter her Fran one of the best work horses I know hustler for sure works hard but listens such a sweet heart one of my favs shayna has shed a new light on my life just listening to me vent and assuring me life has meaning Joy nothing but a sweet personality and has givin me motivation to find the right partner and not settle. Bre V has been here for a while and first time I met her but service nothing but exceptional. I live in the heart of Harrison township but to me this place has the heart of me weather I’m happy sad or ready to party this is the place to be. Love them all and you will too. Antonio been here since I first started coming and he is more than what they pay him for he’s a harder worker to the fullest for sure!!...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Sandbar, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I opted for the surf and turf tacos, which were a perfect blend of succulent steak and fresh seafood, wrapped in soft, flavorful tortillas. Each bite was a delightful mix of textures and flavors that truly showcased the chef's culinary expertise.

My wife chose the grilled chicken sandwich, and she was equally impressed. The chicken was perfectly grilled, juicy, and seasoned to perfection, complemented by fresh, crisp vegetables and a delicious sauce that brought the whole sandwich together beautifully.

The atmosphere at The Sandbar was another highlight of our visit. The ambiance was relaxed yet vibrant, with the soothing sounds of live music enhancing the overall dining experience. The band played a great selection of songs that added to the enjoyable evening without overwhelming our conversations.

Overall, The Sandbar provided us with fantastic food, excellent service, and an unforgettable atmosphere. It's definitely a place we'll return to and highly recommend to others looking for a great...
