Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Harrison

Never had a problem with this place until tonight. I sat in the drive thru for 25 minutes unable to leave. After watching two employees begin pulling out and cleaning behind equipment with no explanation for the delay I called the store, when I was informed that a hose had come loose on the grill, which wasn't noticed until it was longer succeeding at being a grill. My friend got out and informed the people behind us, who were glad to at least have some information since they couldn't leave either. Five minutes later I was greeted at the window with an apology and a coupon for what I expected to be everything I ordered free on my next visit, but instead was a free small blizzard. Before this could register she read my total, which had been reduced by $3, which brought my compensation for 30 minutes unwillingly spent in the drive through to $6.89. I said the order should be free, she informed the shift manager, who instead of discussing my grievance simply read back the total. When I repeated my position that the order should be free she repeated the concessions that had been made and that's all she was allowed to do. So I left. Maybe the hose couldn't be helped. Everyone seems pretty friendly and I just haven't had many issues here or anything to note parking is a little hard sometimes if they're busy and the drive-thru can get really confusing. Still they seem to go through their customers really quick and sell the drive-thru doesn't really get overwhelming most the time. Food always seems to be hot and fresh and the service workers always seem relatively content and happy not too stressed out..

My only negative, the size of their ice cream cups! Super sketch!! It might not be this Branch's fault though it's probably the franchise DQ needs to rethink it though because they're going to lose a lot of business people are just not going to pay those prices for their ice cream. Got three things on our order wrong. The boy child manager came to our table and accused me of stealing a small soda on a 29 dollar meal ticket, the girl forgot to add it on but gave me a cup, so i didn't notice it was not on the bill. My husband got a different burger than he ordered, they did make him another one. It took over 20 minutes after we were done eating to make our for later ice cream cups. They were kinda mad when I asked how much longer it would be, a storm was coming in, and we wanted to get home. They were very rude. ...
