Memorial Day 5.26.25: It's time I finally spotlight this awesome place. We live off of Conkling Road and today was our first bike ride of the season riding across the CDA bridge to get some ice cream. Visiting Harrison Creamery is one of my favorite things to do while on a bike ride and always recommend it to people. Right now they're only open on the weekends, but being it was a holiday weekend they were open today. When we walked in, we were greeted with a smile. Ambience wasn't crazy busy but steady streams of people (no line out the door...yet). It was around 2pm so maybe we missed the rush. Since I haven't had their ice cream since last season, I went with 3 scoops of my favs in a waffle bowl. My ice cream choices were: Huckleberry Heaven, Lemon Meringue, and Playdough. The ice creams all have unique flavors, very creamy, and super yummy! I haven't came across a flavor I didn't like. Service was great and love that they support high school kids looking for work experience. They're all so nice and friendly and that's a plus.

The ice cream was so delicious that I forgot to take a picture of my junior cup of espresso explosion before I enabled it. Hahah! I loved how friendly and fast the staff were. The had dairy free options, shakes, malts, fudge and more. The JR cup was the perfect size for me, it had 2 HUGE scoops. They also provided a water bowl for dogs which Zeke was thankful for that. It’s a tradition to stop here when visiting our family in Idaho. As Arkansans we appreciated the friendliness of locals and this cute little town!

What a fantastic ice cream shop, lots of flavors to choose from and I’d put it in the top 3 of all time, so rich and creamy. Friendly service, HUGE portions and the little town itself is charming.

I have a peanut-allergic child and stopped in to ask about cross contamination while we were in Harrison. When I did, the woman at the register said that allergens were listed below each ice cream flavor name in the display, which I could clearly see. I clarified the question and asked if there was risk of cross contamination to which she replied that yes, there was a risk even if peanuts weren’t listed as an ingredient, and she rudely added ā€œthat’s pretty much the case everywhere.ā€

As an allergy parent I know which questions to ask but a school teacher or a grandparent may not. It’s quite dangerous that they would incorrectly tell me which products are safe and then changing the answer only when I clarified. My negative review is not because we couldn’t get ice cream here due to allergies, but because any food establishment needs to be adequately prepared to answer questions about allergens—and with kindness, not with...

Harrison Creamery is the perfect summer spot! The almost overwhelming variety of flavors offrred leaves absolutely nothing to be desired. There is something for every flavor pallet! In addition the staff was so kind in their suggestions, they really take the time to help you figure out what is best for you. Lorraine, the owner was happy to check multiple flavors to make sure even members of our party with food allergies could get a sweet treat. The staff seemed to be having a great time, and displayed excellent customer interaction. Also, deserving an honorary mention is the Hawaiian food truck just a few steps below.. Rowan and his wife were so welcoming, and provided that carefree island atmosphere we always hear about! Don't even get me started on the food! Uhg, that teriyaki sauce?..To die for! All in all, this has become a must have stop any time we are...
