It saddens me, what I have taken away from my experience at One Shot Charlie's. The waitresses and the food were amazing! BUT, the experience I had here will forever change my opinion. I went to the bar, but I had forgotten my I.D. (I retrieved my I.D. and returned.) The young male bartender took my I.D. (and that of my friends as well). He hands everyone's I.D.'s back to them (holding onto mine) he hands me a piece of paper. Then, he requests that I sign this (blank) paper several times, requesting all of the info on my I.D. After a friend cracks a joke; "Would you like her Social Security Number too?" He responds VERY rudely; "Is that on this Fing paper?!...Then why the F would I need it?!" Seeing an escalation in the scenario, I asked “WHY do I need to do this?" He responded (again VERY rudely) "Because I don't believe this is you!" I innocently giggled (seeing as I looked EXACTLY like my photo no makeup and all) he leaves and returns with one of the owners, the two of them proceeded to condescendingly talk down to me "Explaining" why they cannot give me back my I.D. and the owner leaves. The young male bartender decided taking "jabs" at my I.D. portrait was acceptable. Stating his reasoning behind his doubt was "this lady is FAT and you're not" and "you look nothing like her"...being that this IS MY I.D., you can imagine how HORRIBLE that was to have to listen to. (After several minutes, I received my I.D. back). Only to be IGNORED by the same bartender who seconds earlier had SEVERAL minutes to deal with this!!?? I am outraged at the BULLYING I received from this bartender on a power trip. A place where the owners allow their employees to verbally bully the (innocent) patrons is grotesque, I will not be returning to One...

We had a very disappointing experience. We’re staying at an Airbnb up the hill and found this on Google Maps. We had read about a couple of things that sounded really good on their website and were looking forward to ordering them. Our server informed us that they had a new menu and their website was way out of date. There were several website items they don’t offer any more. I finally landed on the meatloaf burger and was told they were out. Nothing else sounded good so I ended up ordering a regular cheeseburger…$18.95. Good grief. I ordered it with tater tots…it came with fries. When I told our server the order was wrong, she wanted to take it back to the kitchen and do the whole order over. Argh.

My wife got some kind of pork tacos…they were really dry and not that great.

I know there’s not a lot to choose from here and this place has a captive audience that’s mostly tourists, but in my opinion, they don’t really try that hard because they...

My family has had a place on the lake since 1980. To be clear One Shot's has been a favorite stop for the 10 years I've been legally drinking. the shots are still great. the atmosphere is still authentic

The new food is embarrassing. The Margarita pizza was a laughable attempt at gourmet. The crust literally separated when eating. It was ALL sauce and flavorless. It was basically marinara covered frozen bread sticks with very little cheese.

I tried again and had what used to be my favorite bbq sandwich on the lake. Again, soggy and disgusting.

I'm writing this in hopes the new management realizes One Shot's HAD a pretty good reputation for food. Fix the menu and fix the cooks. It's terrible...plain and simple you have messed up what was...

Fun atmosphere, tasty food and cold drinks in a quaint little town. A small and simple park across the road kept my kid entertained while we waited for our food. The waitstaff was very friendly and my bloody mary was awesome! It came with a slice of beef jerky in it and I thought that was fun! The building this business is in is historic and beautiful with multiple businesses on site. The location is ideally placed near boat docks along the lake so many of the guests arrive at once and leave together. If the place is packed it may soon clear out and fill back up...making it very fun to hang out! Owners are genuinely kind people who actively work in their business to ensure a quality experience!

If you are driving the scenic route around Lake Coeur D'Alene, or Harrison Idaho is your destination, you've got to stop by One Shot Charlie's. The building is fun (outdoor seating in summer months), the decor is interesting and the food is fantastic! We had the garlic Parmesan fries with a beef dip and a Reuben, and both were outstanding. We also got an appetizer (forget the name) that was basically HUGE tator tots stuffed with cream cheese, jalapenos, corn and other yumminess with a fantastic fry sauce. Our only lament is we didn't stop by years ago. The next time we had this way, One Shot Charlie's is a MUST.

Staff was very friendly and is the only reason I am giving this place 2 stars! The food was overpriced and subpar! Ordered a cheeseburger and it was disappointing! Not sure if they change the menu for the summer but the menu online describes the burger as 1/3 pound patty on a toasted brioche bun, what I received was a normal bun and maybe a 1/4 pound patty, I have attached a picture. Also the online menu listed this hamburger for $10.95 well I was charged $17-$18 for this thing. I will never order this again. I was so excited to try this place too. What a shame.
