This is a fun place, a coffee shop with a clever name that is a lot more than a coffee shop. We had just discovered this place pre-pandemic, but it was so long ago, this was basically our first visit. We decided to order wraps + potato salad (side dish) and soup. The potato salad, tangy chicken wrap and chicken bacon ranch wrap were good, the soup was even better... cheezy potato, with a great blend of cheese and seasoning. Between two of us, we also got a whipped coffee and a dirty chai latte. The whipped coffee was a unique drink we've never seen before, with a sweeter layer at the bottom and coffee whipped on top, the layers made to be mixed together as you drink. The atmosphere will be a bit busy or over-the-top for some, but others will find the eclectic decor charming and fun. There's a good amount of space inside with plenty of tables, chairs, and couches to accommodate all kinds of people. I wish we could award 4.5 stars, as this was a great visit, but I couldn't round up to 5, partially due to cost, which seemed a bit high for my frugal-leaning, value-for-money thinking. However, only slightly so, and I would much rather pay a little bit more at a unique, local place like this with a lot of character. 5 stars for those working: they were happy, easy-going, answered multiple menu questions, and really knew the menu well, too, with what looks like enough variety to make it interesting for multiple visits. Service was fast and friendly, although we were just minutes ahead of a modest lunch crowd. If you've never been here before, it's worth going out of your way to check out out...

As a foodie, I'm about to write something that I never thought I'd write. If I had to choose one place to eat breakfast for the rest of my life, THIS would be the place!!! I'm from out of town and this is my first time here. Looked like it would be a nice place to visit and it has not disappointed. When you first walk in you feel like your entering another world. A world from the past that made you feel safe and cozy. That ambiance is reflected throughout the establishment. The balcony is where I chose to sit and I'm super happy that I did. I ordered an iced mocha, half order of biscuits and gravy, and the quiche. The ice mocha was very good. The quiche was light and fluffy with a perfectly flaky, delicate crust. The biscuit and gravy was perfectly delightful with a creamy sausage gravy that had just the right mix of sage and pepper with big chunks of sausage. Will I be back? I certainly hope so!!! This place deserves 10 stars!

Short visit in town and Common Grounds was highly recommended by local resident. We went to lunch and 3 of 4 ordered the chicken salad. One person had it in a salad surrounded by veggies, a second person had it in a wrap, I had chicken salad as a sandwich on wheat. Delicious no matter how it was served. The building was a furniture store in a previous life. Highly recommend a visit to this unique coffee shop serving breakfast, lunch, smoothies, and more! No doubt if I lived here I would be a regular.

What a nice place in a little town. The owner Katie, is extremely awesome and sweet and accommodating as well. The coffee was perfect and there are many to choose from. She also had with her a young lady named Rylee that made my dirty chai and it tasted absolutely amazing. They both have great personalities and smiles that leave you feeling good about your visit. The prices are awesome not too high but exceptional for the quality of the coffee and service. I would recommend this to anyone. By the way there's also ample area before having little meetings with friends and...
