CHEF WALT'S LLC — Restaurant in Hartford

Decided to check this place out after hearing great reviews from a relative. Ordered a plate for lunch and arrived at the location which was confusing. I’m not familiar with the area nor did the website provide any instructions on how they operate. I called the main line to get information on how I pick up my order and the owner I’m assuming was very passive aggressive and rude asking me “don’t you see the signs with his face on it”. I only saw one sign and it pointing at the street and it did not say follow additional signs. I assumed and parked on the street. Anyways I was offended and disappointed in the basic fundamentals of customer service that was not provided and even more disappointed that it came from a black owned business which black owned businesses have a bad rap of poor customer service. I ended up leaving not even bothering to pay for the food and took my money elsewhere. I was really looking forward to trying out this establishment after driving 30 minutes from my home to get there. Honestly I would not order from here . Their system is horrible and they have people waiting in there cars for hours just for the food to be cold. I order a meal off Uber eats and my meal was totally wrong come to find out the Uber driver said they were waiting 30mins to an hour for the food to come out. They don’t ask you what car you are driving so they can give the food to the right person. I order two wraps and ended up getting an overcooked buffalo chicken wrap and overcooked bbq wings totally different from my original order. That tells me that whoever is working does not check the food to make sure it’s going to the right person in the right bag. If they don’t want to deal with people and customer service fine. But come up with a better plan to execute people’s orders right so people are not coming back to get the food that they wanted. Ontop of that the phone customer service is horrible and you almost feel rushed to tell them like listen you need to hear people and make sure people are getting their correct orders.
