Hot Pots — Restaurant in Hartford

Food was way over priced, over boiled, and over salted! Legit taste like they only cooked with Lawry's seasoned salt and nothing else. Cabbage looked like soggy paper towels and tasted like it too. Threw the whole $3 side container in the trash after one bite. Yams were just boiled, no types of butter, brown sugar, not even a Thought of a mashmallow even!! Greens were so salty I felt my pressure just up and quit life. Mac gave basic " This my first time cooking this" vibes. Ribs were good, however wings were so salty they dried out my taste buds, so I'm not sure if my mouth was just grateful for something with some type of sweet opposition. My family spent $75 (covid & Russian war withstanding y'all know your prices are too damn high and the menu hasn't been updated to reflect that, so we had no idea until we were being rung up!!) and 30mins wait for a waste. First off please it is unhealthy eating that food. The fried chicken wings were so old they were black all the way to the bone. I didn't get everything that I paid for, Plus they used to have the best cabbage I hated those cabbage I just ordered I don't eat them except for them I haven't ordered from them in a while I heard that they weren't good anymore now I know they're not good anymore. I ordered the porgies and didn't have a taste at all to them, the collard greens the cabbage none of it was seasoned it was just mediocre, the potato salad wasn't tasty macaroni and cheese is not the way it was they must have to have a new cook the chicken wings weren't good I've had their food before and it used to be great. When I called them she rushed me off the phone. Never again ever when somebody tell you that the place is not good anymore...

I went to order chicken wings yams and macaroni on a Sunday they sold me days old dried out (days old)chicken wings The candy yams was also days old and dried out, When I called to complain the lady over the phone got an attitude and lied and told me “the food was cooked today” I’ve eaten there numerous times they have never sold me old food before but today it tasted horrible the macaroni and cheese didn’t taste like it usually does. You can tell that they intentionally sold me old food because she quickly offered me to return it to the store so they can change it, but they shouldn’t of sold it to someone in the first place you can get someone sick selling days old food.
