If I could give this 0 stars I would. Absolutely do not stay here. If we'd had access to the internet and could have checked reviews we wouldn't have stayed. It is unsafe. This is not an exaggeration. We were travelling cross country and needed to book ahead. We would have left immediately but it was too late for us. It should have been a red flag that the front desk was surrounded by bulletproof glass but we're Canadian and that just seemed like a quirky American thing that was probably common and we were tired. The room was...well you can see the photos. It was disturbing to say the least. The doorway to both the washroom and the room itself had signs they'd been broken in (photo of bathroom attached). There were suspicious characters inside and out (keeping in mind homeless people are people too). We would have left right then but when we went to go back to the lobby we could hear someone having a mental health episode in the lobby and we returned to our room. We chose to lock ourselves in the room and pray everyone was gone by early morning. We tried to call the front desk with the room phone to inquire about early check out but it did not work. The tv did not work either. We slept in our clothes on top of the sheets and didn't use the shower. Thankfully 18hrs of driving knocked us out despite the anxiety but I did awake in the night to the sound of gunshots. This hotel needs security. They have a lot of cameras but the only staff is behind glass, and there is NO security door to the hallways, and the front door of the hotel was propped open. I cannot believe we spent money to stay here let alone the amount we did.

Today is January 21 ,2025....The staff are horrible...... these foreign men are dishonest....I was itching and have small bumps on my arms.....I seen a small bed bug on the pillow I was lying my head on and I definitely do not feel safe here...... Never again will I ever book a stay here...one of the cleaning crew was cleaning outside my door and I begin to feel itchy.... the lamps are old as dirt.....I did not have a phone in my room.....the fire alarm is not even on......I have no blow dryer in the bathroom.... the TV was plugged in so I tried to turn the TV on and it did not turn on......there is tissue wrapped around a light bulb ......I wonder why??????? I did not smell cigarette smoke in the bathroom not until I went to take a shower..... I do not feel safe here at all...when I asked for my receipt after I paided 160 for over night the guy refused to give me my receipt so when I came out later on that night there were two different staff and I asked for my receipt and was given it and it said I was suppose to pay 103 dollars so why this morning he told me to give 160 dollars...and then the credit card scanner did not work so I had to use the atm which cost 12 dollars to withdrawal money..... and the bathroom door does not have a lock on it and it can not shut all the way... the time is 11:07pm when I wrote this and I called the cops at 9:56pm and they are still not here... it's weird that they are taking so long to get here..... and my peep hole has cracks in it....

The rooms are sub par, kind of dirty and gross. There are smoking rooms which I rarely find, if you need that (we didn’t). I always worry that hotels that allow smoking anywhere inside will smell throughout and the nonsmoking rooms did not smell bad at all. The room itself is just old and outdated but I understand that you get what you pay for… that being said hopefully you don’t want to watch tv as it doesn’t stay on (see video). The reason we stayed: concerts at xfinity. We parked and walked past people we were behind getting off the highway. After the concert being able to walk past the lines of people to just get to a room is amazing, and the best thing this hotel has to offer.

I really wish I could give them 0 stars. This place is horrendous. Like others said, I also stayed here because it's close to the Xfinity Theatre.

When I went to check in, the first thing I noticed is that the front doors are open to the public (it was 1am, not like it was the middle of the day).

I walked in and the smell was overwhelming. It smelled like stale smoke and sweat.

The guy at the desk was busy watching the surveillance cameras. He looked up at me and then grabbed my ID (through the bulletproof glass as others have mentioned), and then got on the phone and called someone. I stood there for at least 20 minutes waiting for him to get off the phone and give me my room card.

Once I got the room card, I headed down to my room all the way at the end of the hallway (room 127) where there was another open door for the public to access from the outside.

My room door was already open, which was strange.

I hesitantly walked in and went to turn on the lights. The lights didn't work other than the bathroom light.

I tried to shut the room door and it wouldn't latch. I tried everything. I went down to the front desk, and the guy came down to my room to demonstrate how to close the door, which consisted of literally using his body weight to slam it shut. But it also didn't lock. He thought it was funny and kept just opening and slamming my door telling me "it will work 😅". After at least 7 attempts and a bunch of messing with the locks, it locked.

I just wanted to shower and go to bed since it was now at least 2am and I had a long drive back home that same morning.

I went to shower and noticed mold, a hole in the wall, and there was no hot water. The outlet near the sink had previously caught on fire and wasn't replaced, and that door didn't shut either. I decided to just go to bed.

Through the rest of the night, there were people coming and going, slamming doors, playing music, yelling, stomping around, etc.

I didn't even care that there was no breakfast in the morning before i left, all I wanted was to get out of there.

It's almost comical that the staff wear suits and ties, when this is absolutely, without a doubt, the worst hotel I've...

I wish they had a rating for 0 stars - I reserved this hotel through Hopper and when I arrived the hotel looked run down. I went to the front desk to check in but there was no staff there so I waited for 10-15 minutes with no success. There was no staff at the desk and when I tried to call the hotel no one answered. There was a girl in the lobby but she hadn’t seen staff and was not able to help. I decided to leave and continue driving since I was not able to find staff to check in. As I left the hotel a drug deal was taking place and I knew I was making the right choice to not wait any longer. I contacted Hopper for a refund and they tried to call hotel for a refund and were not successful either. It’s amazing to me that as a customer I was not able to find staff to check in and Hopper was not able to even reach the hotel to discuss my reservation. Hopper shared that they would email the hotel since they were not able to reach them by phone. Now here is the kicker….the hotel staff called me a liar and said they were at the desk and I was a no show and wouldn’t be refunding my stay!!!! Maybe if they reviewed their security tapes they would see me standing at the desk for 10-15 minutes waiting to be checked in or three drug deal happening in their parking lot. I also tried to call to discuss my refund as that is what Hopper recommended and guess what … no one answered the phone!

I was not expecting much from a Super 8 but this is ridiculous…..I was not able to check in because of their absent staff and then when I tried to get my money back they called me a liar. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to the homeless and recommend you stay away...

This hotel was incredibly difficult to work with. My mother, future mother-in-law, and myself all attempted to block rooms at this hotel for my wedding. My mother-in-law called to confirm her block a few months after she was told she received one, only to be told that she didn't have any rooms under her name and was unable to block any. Later, I heard from some of my guest that they were unable to reserve a room in my block because the hotel wouldn't give them one. Every time I would call, they would ask for my name and number, say they would call me back, and rush me off the phone. I would almost never get a call back or they would call me back several hours later and when I called again, there was always some kind of excuse. At one point, I asked how many rooms in my block were taken and was told that they couldn't tell me that information. All I was looking for was a number. For someone that has around 300 guests coming to a wedding, and was almost guaranteeing them business for 10+ rooms, I sure wasn't treated well. I can only assume that it's no different being an actual guest in the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would suggest any other hotel in the area. After several phone calls, and no help from the owner, I cancelled my block of rooms, and recommended my guests to stay else where. While cancelling my room, I was even asked if I would like to cancel my mother's rooms because it was holding up rooms. If they actually gave them to people, it was guaranteed business. There is a reason that this hotel is cheap, and their customer service definitely showed why. Please consider...
