Oh my word is this restaurant fantastic!!! We pulled off the freeway on the way to Chicago to get gas and saw there was a Mexican place right down the road. El Primo has some of the best tacos in Michigan. No joke. We tried Carne Asada, Al Pastor, Camerones, Pollo, Chorizo, and Lengua. Every single one was delicious. Every. Single. One. We had fajitas. They were delicious. And the salsas oh sweet Mary Mother of the Lord.

And the people there are just so nice.

Pick up order on 07-27-23 4 large burritos, rice and beans, and chips and salsa. I had my son go to get order he comes home with 4 ice cold burritos says she said its just the rapper thats cold and the inside is hot! The rice and beans were great, the salsa was barley any tomatoe and a whole lot of onion and cilantro and no chips, which when i ordered, $70 dollars for ice cold salty burritos, and very rude staff, i thought i was getting authentic mexican food and instead it was horrible and disrespectful to treat people like they are stupid! We came to visit because TikTok told us we should come try it and …. we love tacos! The tacos did not disappoint! They have the only tripa taco I have ever liked. We ordered variety of toppings, did not regret one thing. (Asada, chorizo, shrimp, carnitas, tripa, barbacoa, fish, asada burrito). Shrimp and fish tacos come in a home made tortilla. Service was super friendly and quick! A variety of Spanish music was played and we visited the little in-store market as we waited for our food.
