Outstanding Mexican food and great service!* (see note at end) We had fajitas here before (once dining in, and carry out on a different occasion), and they were Really Good. Tonight we tried the chef's special: Quesabirra and consume - a definite get again. I requested chicken tacos instead of the steak or goat tacos featured. Our server Pedro (also the manager) cheerfully agreed to make the switch, and also custom designed the consume to go with my tacos. From the first bite of deliciousness to the very last, my mouth was alive with flavors. The consume was also flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The made-for-us guacamole was great. (as were the fresh salsa and chips served at the beginning of our meal) I had doubts that 3 tacos would be enough food, but, it was a sizable dinner, and after all the guacamole and salsa, we were full. But when Pedro offered a flan that he made this morning...we said yes! It was delicious. La Cocina De Emma was named after Pedro's grandmother, and is our new go-to Mexican restaurant. Highly recommend both their dining in and carry out. * When Pedro was there it was a 5 Star experience all the way. We went back to dine in on his day off, and it was a 3/4 Star experience. The food was good, not great. Service was good, not great. My lesson learned: call ahead to see if Pedro will be there.

The person at the counter was friendly and professional. I ordered beans and rice and a chefs taco, so whatever they wanted to give me. The food was good and fresh. Their pico de gallo was nice and so were their salsas. The verde salsa was nice and spicy. I do have to go back and test out their frijoles. They misplaced them in the order 😉. So to be continued.

My absolute favorite place to eat! Nothing tops De emmas tacos, there guacamole, the green salsa they even have amazing margaritas! All around this place has the best food in town & I would never choose another spot! Any time I cheat on my favorite Mexican restaurant I’m left disappointed! Love this place!

This was not a very friendly place. For one the staff do not speak english. They could not for the life of them figure out my order. I brought in my family of five and when we sat down we got one small order of chips and salsa. The salsa was frozen in the middle. It took about 40 minutes for them to cook our order. When we got to order we were surprised at the very small portions. We were surprised that it wasn't still cooked all the way. And it did taste off halfway through our meal we decided to stop eating and leave. This was not a good experience at all. The food tasted expired. My family remains sick for 2 to 3 days after we ate here. It was a very bad stomach virus. They do not treat Americans the same way they treat their own kind. If you think this is racist it's not every every Mexican restaurant in this town will give more food and better service to Mexicans and they will white people. I would give this negative five stars if I could. Upon asking for another round of chips and salsa before our food came they informed us it would be another $2.50. I am thinking are you crazy you're going to give us one small serving for a family of five and then make us pay for another serving. If I could convince all my friends and family to never to come to this...

Everytime I have ordered from this place. They are truly on point with their food. This was the first time I sat and ate in the restaurant. They bring the normal chips and salsa to the table. The salsa was delicious and spicy. I ordered the asada burrito. It came just as described and the plating was very appealing. I would highly recommend this place if you're craving authentic Mexican food. Update* went in here once again and I was absolutely not disappointed. If you haven't tried this place....
