This was our go to restaurant when we had a taste for Mexican food, (the Chile relleno, and fajitas), but when we ordered our typical dinners, they were not the same and we were perplexed when both were in burrito form. Either the restaurant has a different owner or a different menu from the last time we were there. That's too bad, since we'll have to find another restaurant to go to now to find these dishes or make them at home ourselves. Since prices are high in general when going out to eat nowadays, we have to be choosy as to where we spend our money and it was rather pricey when these dishes came out as burritos and not the typical dishes we are accustomed to. I dine at La Trinidad Restaurant usually once or twice a week. I enjoy the food very much. It is authentic Mexican food, and it is great! The prices are not cheap, but not overly expensive either, but you could spend as much at Taco Bell and not get nearly the same quaility food. I usually get the combination dinner which offers you a choice of three different dinner items. You can mix and match them any way you like. I often have a shrimp tostada, along with a chicken tamale and a beef or pork enchilada. Sometimes I elect to include a chicken or shrimp quesadillas. I always walk away full and satisified. Always!! Only mexican restaurant ive ever went to where you buy guacamole and get charged for chips food is mediocre at best dont waste your time or money here instead drive another 3/4 mile or so down ayer street rite past this place and on the right is a hidden gem called los jalepeno brothers excellent service friendly atmosphere great authentic mexican cuisine with generous portions daily specials and prices that are more then fair and last but not least when you buy guacamole you are not charged for the chips and in fact half the time i order i get free chips and salsa LOS JALEPENO BROTHERS a must stop for...
