You really gotta hand it to Sonic and its corporate honchos for having the visionary wherewithal to ensure the survival of the drive-in restaurant concept throughout the last 70-plus years. In small towns, like Haskell, Sonic will always fare well if only because it quite possibly is the only place to get a decent fountain drink and most definitely the only place to get soft-serve ice cream (thanks ever suspend to the shuttering of the DQ franchise). However, customer service at the Haskell Sonic has tapered off drastically in the last few years, and a lack of dependable employees has affected its quality of service and that of its food. On a recent visit to satisfy a late-night ice cream craving, a good half-hour before closing but within the half-priced treats window, I was told they'd already shut off the ice cream machine. With DQ closed here and ice cream being your No. 1 post-9 pm selling item (just a guess), don't shoot yourself in the foot by turning off the soft-serve machine. In fact, it might be best to leave the whole thing on at all times, power bill be damned. The exorbitant price y'all demand for ice cream - even at half-price - ought to cover the cost. If I'm willing to dip into my Starbucks fund for Sonic ice cream, you can darn well meet me half way, even if I have to wait for the ice cream...

I ordered 1 MINI Oreo blast, add cookie dough and chocolate syrup - I received a SMALL cookie dough blast WITHOUT any Oreo pieces. I sent this one back to which they only added 3 Oreo pieces to the top of the ice cream and nothing else.

Hubby called me and said they were wearing masks but not over the nose. One even had it just on their chin. He told them to cancel the order as it was not ready. hubby is a senior with a weakened immune system. Manager came out to ask why order was being cancelled.
