We decided to try this place for supper, had been here for lunch once, it was just okay but nothing that stood out as a reason to not come back. Today we waited quite a while before we were greeted at our table by our server (another gal wiped out table and we asked if there were any specials and she said she didn't know but our server would know...and then we waited ten minutes for the server to come). Apparently our food order got in after a group of 16, so we waited again for our food (total wait from time we walked in to time our food arrived was an hour). Our server never apologized or said anything about the wait for our food (the other gal who was not our server came by and mentioned we'd be up as soon as the big table all got their food, we had already figured that out a while before that). When the food arrived, it was again just ok. My constructive criticism for the server is to be a bit more attentive to your tables. You did not have the large group, and you clearly had no sense of urgency for any of the tables you were serving tonight. Also, if you can't remember when someone asks for a to go container, don't make them wait after you bring them back their finished bill such that they have to go stand at the bar waiting to get their own to go container while you stand waiting for a food order for your next table to come up. I've been a server, it's hard hard work, I get that, and I'm usually very understanding, but we felt like we were an afterthought. Also, we did leave a good tip, because we believe that we never know the full story of what someone may be going through. We...
Read moreThis was our first time visiting and the place had good reviews. I'm very Irish and I love Irish pubs, so I had high hopes. For being even mildly Irish themed, they don't offer any Irish food at all. We ordered buffalo and teriyaki wings as an appetizer. The buffalo sauce was almost like an imitation buffalo sauce. Hardly looked or tasted like it. The wings were dry. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and it had the same type of wings inside. It was watery and had little taste. My wife ordered the French Dip. That was also dry and flavorless. I was disappointed in the fries also. Very soft and over salted and the tater tots were almost undercooked. I really try to find something positive in all my reviews but this one is tough...there's plenty of seating. I guess that's the best thing I can say. There has to be some major improvements in the quality of food before we visit here again. I honestly can't recommend this place in good conscience as a...
Read moreWow, I am glad I stopped here. The place has a small town bar/grill vibe. The place is bright, clean, and the staff was very friendly. There was plenty of seating the bar high tables low tables and booths. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to find the location as we drove by.
Service was quick we got our drinks and our food in a timely fashion. Everything was exactly as we ordered.
I got the burger of the month which was a Hawaiian burger. This burger was sweet slightly salty spicy and absolutely delicious. In fact I can honestly say it's one of the best burgers I have had anywhere that I have ever been. My companion had the chicken strip melt sandwich and she said it was absolutely phenomenal.
I'd highly recommend this location for anybody coming through or living in the Hastings area. With service this good, food this good, in a building as nice as this, you're...
