The service here is always entertaining. They have a great sense of humor, are always acceptably friendly, and usually decent at getting the order into the computer correctly.
Our order is wrong about 50% of the time statistically by historical accounting (though the recent trips have been 1 out of 4 wrong), but usually it is missing something or is minorly wrong. They are clearly working hard to improve this!
The employees being entertaining, friendly, and very willing to have a real conversation in 20 seconds or less keeps me cheerfully returning to this Taco Bell over and over again. From philosophy to entertainment news, all the way through video games, I've discussed it all in 4-5 sentences in this drive through.
In the past 6 months, the food has always been hot, fresh, and well made. The upsells have been friendly, but not overblown. Their willingness to make modifications to ensure my dietary restrictions can be met are always cheerfully done and never wrong. Sure, we might end up minus a desert item, chips, or queso on occasion, but that is drastically going down, and it's honestly less of a problem than ending up at home with food I can't actually eat.
I dinged one star for the inconsistency in all the food actually being in the bag. I look forward to updating my review when the accuracy issues are fully addressed. I expect it will be soon with the amazing improvements this Taco Bell's management staff is clearly dedicated...
Read moreWorst experience ever. Taco Bell is known for late night fast food. Times are still pretty rough in some places, and a lot of food places are short staffed. We realize this and understand. The person who took our order was completely frazzled, probably had a long day, but that doesn't excuse her bad attitude or snippyness with us. She wasn't wearing a name tag, or I'd name her here. There were 4 adults for our order, so it was $40. Taco Bell isn't cheap anymore. The tomatoes on our tacos were nasty, shells were soggy, chulpa's were soggy and basically just fell apart. The quesadilla was overcooked and completely stuck to the wrapper. Only the burrito was wrapped well. One of their crunch boxes was ordered, so we were expecting a box that normally this item comes in. The worker pretty much chewed our heads off, telling us rudely that there were only 2 of them working, and it was easier for them to just put everything in the bag with all the other stuff. Okay, whatever, but that left us to figure out what was what since none of the items were marked or wrapped very well. It was only 10:30 pm so the food should have been much better. They are open very late after all. I can tell you that we will never go back to that Taco Bell in Hastings, MN, ever again. And we will make sure that our friends also know how bad it is. I suppose I should say that the Nacho fries...
Read moreSo it's been brought to our attention that Taco Bell in Hastings Minnesota has enough employees 5 yep that was F.I.V.E. 5 employees (at 11:30 ish am) to work a car-less drive-thru. I observed this as my husband and I (being two of the 9 Dine-In customers) stood there patiently waiting to order as the staff is oblivious to all of us (6 of the 9 have whom have yet to order) as several minutes pass with three different employees at three different times making eye contact with us saying NOTHING! Then finally (I'm assuming) the MOD (manager on duty) spots us and instead of coming over to us or greeting us simply spats out feel free to use the kiaos . UMMMM WHATTT.... SERIOUSLY!!! WOW!! SIMPLY WOW!! Then the one lady who had been already eating as we walked in chimed in (speaking to us ) how ridiculous the place has become Then approaches the counter with a loud firm voice (obviously aware she wouldn't be seen, heard, or helped otherwise) asked for a sack! So A FRIENDLY FYI to those going to Taco Bell in Hastings Minnesota EVEN THOUGH THEY HAAVE PLENTY of employees TO HELP YOU YOU HAVE TO GO TO ONE OF THE FOUR KIAOS TO PLACE YOUR ORDER AND FORGET ABOUT HAVING A QUESTION THEY DONT RESPOND TO YOU OR RECOGNIZE THAT YOU...
