I don't usually rate/review a local business until I check it out a few times. But I feel compelled to do it because of how average it was compared to the reviews others had (which is why I tried it). We ordered pizza. It was "okay", but I can't believe it had been cooked too long. Drying out the crust and actually leaving burnt marks as well. I'd expect to see those marks on certain ovens but this was just a regular large pizza style oven. They also weakly cut the pizza, so the slices were extra hard to eat. Also one of our toppings we had meatball. I had to double check to see if it was beef only and it was not (all I was told it was "mixed"). I'm assuming beef/pork but shouldn't they tell you on the menu or even when I ask? Not just say "mixed". The decor inside is traditional American pizza shop style (also rather small). The parking may be an issue because depending on the time you order it can be busy in Hatboro. Trying to just park and get your food is tough. If you try to park quickly on the street (York Rd) you'll have to pay for the parking meter (need a quarter). I'll be trying this restaurant again since football season is coming. Hopefully the other food or the one pizza I had was just an off day. Looking forward to trying the food other reviewers rave about. I'll update this...
Read moreSo I've been coming here since they've opened pretty much and believe it or not I've never had an issue you get to know the family that works there and the people and it's great. So it pains me to say this but I was just in there order two slices one with lettuce and tomato add one slice with ricotta cheese also got a order of onion rings. When I showed up I saw my onion rings being picked up with bare hands after I just watched him walk around and clean up and do stuff then trying to shove my onion rings in the bag he coughed in his hand grabs the box of pizza and the onion rings with the coughed hand the walks over to the counter and says you don't need a bag do you open up the box of pizza and puts the bag of onion rings on top of the slices of pizza there's no way I would have handled this situation that woman have escalated into a crazy argument so of course I don't want to start any issues so I take the order and just toss out the onion rings. And to look at these slices once I got in the truck they weren't even edible had to toss those as well. Would never go back and would not ever recommend anyone eating...
Read moreDifferent cheesesteak #999 in the last four years. Special Guest Eater TaRhonda Thomas. Yes, TaRhonda from FYI Philly on 6ABC. Joe’s is a great little family owned and operated Pizza shop. Deb opened early for us. Thank you Deb! The cheesesteak was standard pizza shop cheesesteak. The meat was seasoned nicely. The fried onions and mushrooms spent time on the grill getting to know each other. The cheese was the weak link. It needed a couple slices more and a better cheese melt. Joe’s is known for their sauce on top pizza. If you ask, they will put the sauce on the bottom. Thank you to everyone that got up early and made this a...
