What happened to MING’S???? This has always been our go to for Chinese take out or eat in. This last order for take out has convinced us that the original chefs have been held hostage and there are others posing as chefs! Our food was tasteless. I ordered shrimp with broccoli and although the shrimp was a good size it was so bland, the broccoli was halfway crisp which is nice, but no flavor. The sweet and sour soup needed more spice- and I don’t like spicy food! Bland. The sesame chicken was General Tso’s chicken with some sesame thrown on it. The dumplings were HORRIBLE. For the dump. No flavor, not crispy as fried dumplings should be. The shrimp dumplings consisted of mostly vegetables- where the heck is the shrimp? The steamed dumplings were certainly steamed, all the flavor gone. We literally needed to add salt to the food- unheard of for Chinese food! It didn’t help much. We normally love to keep leftovers but these were thrown away. We ate it because we were hungry like a bunch of animals but we will never order from here again. So sad, our Ming days are over. We’ve had great memories of really fantastic food. Praying that the hostage chefs will...
Read moreAre you still on the excellent reviews, I ordered takeout from this restaurant for the first time. The disappointment began with the Warren turns one turns, they had the most miserable tiny piece of meat that I've ever seen. My wife thought it was spam because of its texture and taste. Next came the eggroll, fried egg roll outer door of course taste good but the contents were very disappointing. It was almost 99% cabbage with a tiniest little bit of somethings else.
My wife ordered General Tso chicken. They gave her a generous amount of this item but it supposed to have broccoli, carrots and water chestnuts. They served it only with broccoli that was uncooked and a tablespoon of sauce at the bottom of the container.
I ordered died special chicken and vegetables with the sauce on the side. In their mind diet means tasteless. Nothing was spiced at all. lThey served, for the most part, uncooked vegetables except for the bok choy, and a mixture of chicken and tofu. Tofu is a protein and is never considered part of a chicken meal unless specified. It was unbelievably bland. I have to add some salt pepper and garlic plus Soy sauce to give...
Read moreThis place a good choice when you've got a hankering for American-Chinese food, or even Korean-Chinese food, i.e. jjajangmyeon or jjamppong.
Service is usually quick and on the friendly side. If you're bringing along people who are more comfortable speaking Korean, they will understand the order for the most part, but do not seem to be able to converse in Korean. Honestly, I sometimes get the feeling some of their staff also understand English fine, but cannot have conversations either. But you know what, I've worked customer service, and I don't blame them if their feigning it.
They serve good good. If you can't find street parking in front, there is plenty of space in the rear. (Go through Produce Junction lot entrance, and...
