Nonno's Bakery is a family-owned business that has been serving the Hatboro community since 2013. Owners Paula Randazzo and Dominica DiMaggio are sisters from Brooklyn who named the bakery in memory of their grandfathers. They specialize in traditional Italian pastries and desserts, but that's not all! Nonno's Bakery also makes custom cakes for any occasion, including weddings, birthdays, and graduations. They use only the finest ingredients and take pride in creating beautiful and delicious cakes that are sure to impress your guests. I stopped by Nonno's recently for content for my Mardi Gras post, and was completely taken aback by how stunning and delicious every single one of their creations was! It was so hard to resist picking up a few items for myself while I was there, but I just had to grab some for my family and friends (secretly so I could sample them anyways 🤣). Nonno's is always baking up something new and delicious! Drop a comment below and let us know what sweet treat you'll be indulging in.

1st time there. in mid afternoon on a Tuesday. Bought 1 PC carrot cake and one cannoli. Ate carrot cake on second day. Was slightly dry on cut edges, but flavor was good. Ate cannoli 1st day. Shell was crisp and good but had a slight aftertaste of overused oil. The filling was a little thin. Could have been a little thicker. When took a bite it oozed out. But again flavor was good. I Use to go to Oteris in Phila. Nonno"s doesn't quite match up. I will try again to see if it was just a slow day and they maybe were not as fresh since they didn't have a lot made. Spent $7 for both.

The smell of a good Italian bakery is so distinct and seared into my memory. The first time I stepped into Nonno’s I knew, this one is legit. Everything we’ve tried so far, from the cookies to the gelato to the pastries to the custom cakes, has been extremely tasty. The folks working the counter are always friendly and super helpful. It can be very busy and they still get to everyone quickly. Love coming here.

Nonno's should be called NoNos. No No ever go there, again. Worse customer service -- EVER!! I had two bad experiences there, back to back, and can't believe they put on their website, "We care about our customers." I called and ordered St. Joseph's cakes and I picked them up the next day, they hadn't put them aside. I also bought another special item, Pizza Rustica, marked $6 and when I checked my receipt when I left the store, I was overcharged for it. When I went back in and told them, woman behind counter rudely grabbed my wrapped boxes, cut them open as she questioned what I bought -- though they overcharged me. And when I was handed back the money I was owed, I got NO apology. I decided to give them a second chance because the Pizza Rustica was so good and ordered same small $6 sized item. When I picked it up on Easter, they charged me $15, claiming they didn't make the size I ordered (though never told me). The same rude lady behind the counter claimed I was given a 9-inch pie for 8-inch price and shoved it back at me, like the store had given me a deal for an overcharged sized item I didn't order. When I took the Pizza Rustica home and opened it up, the top was so dark brown and burnt on the crust. Being I had company and won't serve it, I brought entire over-charged pie back Monday morning to the owner. When I showed him how it was obviously burnt, he took it out of the box, said, "No. no. it's fine." He handed it back to me as if offended -- with NO apology. Second incident at Nonnos with NO apologies and NO customer service -- from the actual owner. Buyers beware and NO NO...

We ordered a cake last week so that we could have for Father’s Day today. I asked her if I could pay over the phone, and her exact words were, “ I have a costumer in front of me you could either pay when you get here to pick up the cake or call later if you want.” Our plan was just to pay when we got there. Fast forward to today, we just went to pick up our cake now at 9 am, which is the time we agreed on with the lady who took our order. The woman at the front desk said that the deposit wasn’t made so that they didn’t have it. She didn’t apologize. She just shrugged her shoulders and said we could come back at 12 on Father’s Day for a cake that was supposed to be ready at 9. We don’t live close and have a party planned so we left. I have ordered from many bakeries, and have always had such pleasant experiences. Worst experience here! We ordered a cake from Lochel’s bakery across the street from this place for a bridal shower, and there was a line there this morning. We wish we would have ordered from there instead. Highly recommend that bakery, as their cakes are delicious and the staff...

Very nasty people. Rude and not welcoming. I only wanted to buy a cupcake as I was hoping to use them for a work function, but the woman at the counter was so rude and short with me, and had a face full of anger. I hope she has a better day tomorrow, but just because she’s having a bad day doesn’t mean she has to be rude to customers. SAD!!! Definitely would not recommend.

EDIT: It was the bigger lady with the brown hair, when I requested to buy a chocolate cupcake she immediately shook her head in disgust, made a nasty face, turned around and shook her head again. I asked if I had to buy more than one, or if only buying one was ok, and she again scowled at me and said “WHICH ONE DO YA WANT?!?” I politely told her “nevermind” and excused myself.

This angry nasty lady should be in the cellar kneading the dough and pouring the batter, not upstairs working with customers. It’s no wonder the place was empty, with all their baked goods getting stale in the window.

Looks like I’m going to Wegmans!! God bless and have a...
