We are very disappointed with this restaurant. At first, the servers were friendly and "even" cleaned the dirty table we were supposed to sit at. The burger tasted good, but nothing special, and the bacon was unfortunately too hard. Overall, it was too expensive. The fries were the best part of the meal. Thumbs up here. The onion rings were as expected. The drama began with the bill. A 20% tip was included in the price. We hadn't experienced anything like that in America before. We were therefore surprised and asked the waitress about it. She said, yes, it is a fixed price and we have to pay that. This made us very angry. Then the head waiter came and asked if there was a problem with the bill. I told him that we weren't familiar with it and that we would like to freely determine the amount of the tip, depending on how much we enjoyed the meal. He then corrected the bill and slapped a new one on the table without comment. You could tell the waiters were annoyed.
When we paid, we wanted to leave a tip. Our tip wasn't enough for them (since it wasn't the full 20%). They then threatened us with the following words: "If we don't pay the 20% tip in America, they'll spit in your food!" This statement shocked us. That would probably mean that if we went there a second time, they would spit in our food... So please be careful: If the waiters don't like something about the guests, I don't even want to know how they handle the food... Then the head waiter said to us that he deserved the 20% because he cleaned our table (this should be normal in a restaurant).
Since we didn't want to start a fight, we left immediately after paying. They then called after us spitefully and ironically (so that all the other guests could hear): "We hope you have a "good" trip and hopefully no one spits in your food." This behavior is an absolute disgrace and therefore not worth a...

Read moreI’m genuinely surprised this place doesn’t have more reviews! I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience because this diner was fantastic. As pictured, we ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and the fried chicken sandwich with onion rings. Both were exceptional.
There's a little flag outside claiming "best burgers," and they aren't exaggerating! The burger was easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Justin, our server, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home.
I’ll admit, from the outside, the diner doesn’t look like much. But don’t let that fool you! Once you step inside, you're welcomed with a smile and the warm, cozy feel of a small-town diner.
I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a delicious, affordable meal. P.S. We also went to the Outlaw Saloon last night, and honestly, this diner blows it out of the water! If you’re deciding between the two, trust me—go to the diner. You won’t be...
