Benedetti's Deli, LLC — Restaurant in Haverhill

My first time ever going to Benedetti's was today 3/9/2022. I will forever remember this day. I only regret not going sooner in my life.

I knew it was going to be good from just calling the order in - was blown away by the way they answered the phone. Super upbeat and friendly and genuinely happy to be taking an order! The nicest people I have ever experienced literally just on that call. Ensuring I had "the best most beautiful sub" because he figured out it was my first time going there so he said he would make it special and BOY OH BOY did he ever!!!

Went to pick up the food and WOW did I feel like a VIP! I think there may have been a red carpet. Knew who I was without even asking and welcomed my friend and I with smiles and open arms.

The 2 minute ride back to eat was filled with the most delicious smells and then unwrapping the sub was like Christmas! Eating it ... OH! MY! LAWDY LAWD! These subs are life changing!

This place is AMAZING. AMAZING I TELL YOU! This place could bring world peace.

I went in yesterday for the first time in many years because I remembered how good the “rockets” were when I was a kid and happened to be driving by- everything was so great I drove 20 minutes out of my way past 10 other sub shops to get here again! Places like this don’t really exist anymore. The people here are so friendly and really take the time to get things right- I mentioned I might be eating half now and half later and they offered to wrap the half’s up separately for me. Nobody goes out of the way for you like that anymore. There’s a very old school charm and feel here even though they’ve clearly updated their restaurant and it’s very refreshing to find a place like that. The food is phenomenal. I’m incredibly critical of Italian subs and I make a better sandwich at home than most other shops but I certainly do not make a better sandwhich than the “rocket” they made me the last two nights. The veggies are super fresh, the fantini bakery sub rolls were super fresh and the meats were fresh sliced and perfectly portioned. I will definitely make this my go to place for what I consider to be a real Italian sub. If you’re looking for the best sandwhiches in the Merrimack valley made by some awesome people...

We can’t get enough of Benedettis Deli! We recently relocated here after seeking refuge with family during mandatory evacuation from Hurricane Florence. I could smell the delicious aroma from down the street while looking at an apartment and when my tired self walked in, their amazing staff made me feel right at home, helped me navigate the menu and order my first time, and without even mentioning it to me included extra food and disposable plates and napkins and utensils and sauces and were genuinely concerned about my family and I going bed with happy full tummy’s that night. What a wonderful first experience! I am proud to announce we moved to the temporary emergency housing just a short distance from this amazing local gem and have been frequently sampling their delicious menu for lunches and dinners several times a week! I still cannot believe how affordable it is to eat here! I cannot say enough wonderful things about you guys! You have given my family and I sanity and comfort the best way!
