Cielito Lindo Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Haw River

My husband and I wanted something close to our workplace in Graham and ended up in Cielito Lindo. We had never been there and didn’t know what to expect (being vegetarian and gluten free can be challenging). I ordered the Huaraches and all I can say was - they were made with A LOT of love 💕 They went all out for me by adding a beautiful topping of sautéed veggies. They were delicately cut, VERY LIGHT on the oil, cooked just right (not soggy and limp), and spread overtop of the beans (which were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of salt). It was a work of art. And so delicious! AND just the right amount of food. We didn’t leave feeling hungry or stuffed. My husband throughly enjoyed the enchiladas he had and we left feeling light instead of heavy with foggy brains. Our waitress Rocio was a gem 💎 So thoughtful and made us feel absolutely welcome. This place is absolutely fantastic! My son had eaten here previously and swore by it, so my husband and I gave it a shot, it did not disappoint. We both had the torta cubana sandwiches, they came loaded down with meat and fixings, my son had the Philly steak burrito. All three were definitely worth the price, they offer sides of chips or fries, we had the fries which were tasty. The house tortilla chips are very crunchy, not like the store bought kind. Don't know if those would be for everyone, but we enjoyed them. The lady working there was very sweet and the wait was only about ten minutes for all three of our dishes to be prepared. They offer alcoholic beverages on site along with drink and daily food specials... but we went for lunch and weren't drinking lol. I highly recommend giving this place a try, they are accessible from 70 or if you're coming from Roxboro Road/49 headed towards Graham....

Just finished a fantastic lunch here for the first time and we will definitely be back! The building is quite non-descript, but the service and the food more than make up for the lack of ambiance. I wasn't in the mood for Mexican since I had just had it last weekend, so I ending up ordering a Club Sandwich with homemade chips. Beautiful presentation and the taste was fantastic for such a simple item! My friend got a California Burrito and it was huge and she loved it too! The owner (?) and a server were very helpful and kind. They also have a huge menu with a wide range of choices (mexican, pizza, american, breakfast, etc.). Sometimes that's not a good sign, but I think in this case, they would make anything turn out delicious! I'm already looking forward to going back soon. I highly recommend giving this...
