We are tourists who drove in from Kona. From the time we arrived until we left we encountered smiles, honest recommendations and amazing customer service. We ordered the Balsamic Cheesy Bread, Chicken Risotto, and Garlic Chicken (Shrimp) Pasta. Our waitress actually suggested the last with the subsitution when we told her we were a no for seafood and loved cheese and garlic. All of the food was great and the servings were huge! We noticed a lot of people coming in who knew the workers or the other guests. Liko Lenhua is a great local restaurant with a sense of pride and treating everyone as family.

A Must-Visit Coffee Spot in Hilo! Stumbled upon this awesome little coffee shop while cruising around Hilo, and I’m so glad I did! The vibe here is super unique—laid-back, artsy, and full of good energy. You can tell they really care about the quality of their coffee. Every cup is made fresh, and you can taste the difference. I haven’t tried the food yet, but based on how good the coffee is, I’ll definitely be back to check it out. Prices are very reasonable, especially for how fresh and well-made everything is. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by—you won’t regret it!

Localy owned, female owned, generational owned and operated. This little spot is further away from the downtown area of Hilo in a residential type area, but totally worth the drive. Absolutely Devine and large portions. Their korean chicken is still something I think about! They also sell different handmade food items like Pineapple butter! While you're waiting on your food, enjoy reading all of the signs and messages posted on the walls of the building. They're hilarious and so touching. Their handshaken lemonade is SO good!

My son and I continued on my Birthday Week Celebration and went to Liko Lehuas for an early lunch. He decided we needed to try the Balsamic Cheesy Bread, it was incredible! The soft doughy bread filled with and covered in ooey gooey cheese, yumm! The Balsamic drizzle soaked into the bread and made it divine!! Then we both ordered the Bottom of the Basket plate. It was a wonderful collaboration of BBQ Chicken, Chicken Katsu and Deep Fried Mahi with Fries. The Chicken dishes were lovely, just the perfect sauces and the Fish was delightful, such a smooth buttery flavor, absolutely delicious. I of course had their famous Lime and Coconut Juice, so tart and refreshing. We asked for recommendations for a take out for mom, something Easy to eat, with flavor but not too salty or spicy. We worked with the staff and decided on the Catch of the Day, Ahi Lightly Seared with Saùted Brussels and Onions with Rice. It was absolutely perfect! The Fish was perfectly cooked and she...

Bought a one choice plate of roast that came with one scoop of rice and corn. The customer before me ordered the same thing and his portion was huge! Another girl helped me right after and I didn't pay too much attention but then they told me it was $9.00 plus tax. As I carried my plate to the car I realized it felt seriously light and when I opened it there was literally hardly anything! I went back inside and showed them the portion size and asked if this was their normal sized portions. The girl who made the plate said yes, but the other girl who heaped food into the previous customer's plate looked at mine and said nothing. I asked again if this is normal for ALL customers portions and again she said yes, and didn't even offer to rectify the problem. By this point I'm really angry and stated now I know and I'll never come back. WHAT A...

My daughter and I stopped for lunch and were greeted with kindness and the most beautiful store front. Positive messages of love and support from loved ones and the community for this small business. We had a laugh at some of the quotes and felt like we were visiting family for our meal. We enjoyed our freshly prepared lunch which included a specialty burger, potato salad, and Mac and Cheesy. The butters they offer are amazing! We were offered a small cup of ice cream with some of their fruit butter and it melted in your mouth. Wow, I plan on coming back with my son and will spread the word about this little gem on this side of...
