we used to be regulars here, we would come here almost every two weeks. usually, we are treated very nicely and are served amazing food by the owner, he’s amazing, and the cook who’s his wife she’s an absolute doll, but today we unfortunately had to face the immature wrath of their son. i came here with my family and my cousins who traveling across an ocean to get here, my cousin ordered the lobster ravioli and it tasted hard and gross. when asked to switch it out for regular cheese ravioli the server, so sweet by the way, said that her boss wants to inform us that while he can switch it out, he won’t be taking it off the bill. initially, we were surprised. we are regulars here, we always enjoy our food but this one time it just wasn’t that good. we called the manager over to get an explanation as to why he wouldn’t switch it out and he was extremely rude! he said that it’s “not his problem” that she didn’t like the food and that under no circumstances would he switch it out. he said that he himself, if his daughter didn’t like the food when they went out to eat, that he would absolutely not let her switch it out and ask for something else. he said that it was “money out of my pocket” and when i asked what happens when a dish falls over or if someone finds a hair or a nail in it, he simply responded with “it’s not the same thing”. as a restaurant manager your job is to make sure all your customers are satisfied. as someone who works in the food industry i was taught to always respond with kindness regardless of the situation. i’ve had things thrown at me, i’ve been cussed out, and i’ve been yelled at and every time i responded with respect and kindness. this manager is a pathetic excuse for a man, he’s cheap and he doesn’t care about his customers. only the money. if i was the owner of this establishment, i would fire him right away before he scares off every other regular. i’m sad to say i will never step foot in this restaurant again, simply because i don’t want to subject myself, my family, and my baby cousins to disrespect. and i want to clarify that this has nothing to do with our server, the chef, or the owner himself....
Read moreHORRIBLE! The Man At The Door was Extremely Rude! My Boyfriend and I got there early 6pm on a Tuesday and asked for a booth that was clearly available and he said he was saving it for a group. I explained I had a bad back and I wanted to be comfortable in a booth, he didn’t say anything, He just threw the menus down at the table and walked away, “i felt like it was because we are young that he could be disrespectful to us” WE SHOULD HAVE LEFT!!!! The whole time we sat at the table I kept feeling heavy vibrations of the waiters going back and forth behind me, it was so uncomfortable, and my back was hurting. After an hour and a half, when we were done eating, the booth I wanted to sit at was still Empty, All 4 booths were empty! Towards the end of the meal, about to pay, The Man came over to our table and my BF told him I wasn’t happy and his response was “I’ve been in the business for 30 years and no one has ever complained about this table, and he walked away again!!!! His response made me so upset. I was complaining because I wasn’t happy or comfortable where he threw us. I’ve had two back surgery’s in the past two years & from my point of view He 100% could have given us a booth and made our experience enjoyable.. he didn’t apologize or show any regards towards Me “A PAYING CUSTOMER ” And For $100 Dinner we could have gone anywhere else! I would gladly have gone to “Delvina, TPR or Domani” (Excellent Italian Places that are Local) “there won’t be a next time @ Amdiamo” The Guy could have been a decent human and said I’m sorry to me but he was arrogant and RUDE “Kept Walking Away, Like We Were Trash” When we go to dinner we never expect to be treated like we are beneath anyone, and that’s how we felt. It’s A Shame That Our Anniversary turned out like that, but now we know not go go there ever again. & we will be telling all of our Family and Friends about this awful experience! KARMA TO THAT GUY!!!! (He...
Read moreHad a very poor experience at this restaurant. The food was bland, overpriced, and partly inedible and I was literally insulted by the service.
Arrived before our reservation time but they still made us wait 20 minutes for our table. Then we had to wait another 45+ minutes to get our entrees. Wouldn't have been a big deal if there was something worth waiting for.
To start i had the "special" calamari for $16. but rather than calling it "special", the calamari should've just been called "greasy fried rubber drenched in hot sauce".
Then i had the rigatoni with proscuitto in tomato cream for $20. after waiting all that time to get the food, my pasta came out and the rigatoni was so undercooked that it was literally CRUNCHY. i am not one to send food back even if it is horrible, but it was completely inedible. i waited another 10 minutes just to get the waiter's attention to let him know, but then he had the audacity to try and argue with me saying that's how they cook it and that "it must be too al dente for you" and purposefully loud enough so my whole table could hear. fortunately i had let them try it too beforehand so they could see how ridiculous it was for them serve uncooked pasta. it was only after 2 others at my table told him they tried the crunchy pasta too did he agree to take it back.
Another 20 minutes go by and i get served the recooked plate, but now everyone had finished eating. so i end up having to just wrap it up and take it to go. after all that time and still having to pay for it, i never even ate it.
I was appalled and insulted by the service & food here and will absolutely never go back. would have been better off getting mcdonald's where at least i wouldn't have wasted all that time and money and the cashiers actually believe you when you say something is wrong...
