Visited this place twice before, and the food was great! and wanted to have dinner there again. Loved the pizza and lasagna. 180° turnaround on the last visit. I wanted to try something different, so I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs . I asked the waitress if they made their own meatballs, She said no, but they are very good, so I thought I would try them. The meatballs we're very salty and tasted like frozen ones. The spaghetti was overcooked and broken up into little pieces already mixed with sauce. I didn't eat the meal after tasting it and the waitress asked if I wanted to take it home, I politely said no, I didn't like it. Walking away from the table, the waitress said she's never had a complaint in 8 years ,BS! After she spoke to the cook / owner, he came out from the kitchen and started to verbally abuse me, asking me, Who the hell am I to critique his food! I was shocked ! I explained to him I was head chef at three Italian restaurants with 50 years of experience. As a senior citizen , I am entitled to my opinion without being verbally abused by a cook.. This cook / owner, in my opinion, has some real anger issues as I've read in previous reviews .In my opinion, if you don't like his food and were asked why , expect to be...

My Family and I stopped here to have a nice bite to eat. It is a little Mom & Pop's kind of place. The Service was friendly, and polite. I ordered a cheese steak sub for myself, and my lovely wife order a large cheese pizza for her and our girls. My family and Me were super happy, the pizza was amazing. Lots of flavor and the pizza crust was nice and crispy, not soft and oily. My cheese steak was phenomenal the bread stayed nice and soft with a crispy texture and the filling was absolutely amazing and filling. Hands down, the best pizza around. We've been to them ALL lol, from Blue Ridge to Ellijay, Blairsville, Hiawassee...it's the best. However, my absolute favorite is the caprese salad. Omg the pesto!!! I could eat an entire bowl of that pesto sauce. My husband likes your cheesesteaks too. We love Angelo's. We've never eaten inside, but we get takeout a lot, and the view from our home here is tomato caprese salad worthy, so...it makes for awesome dinners. If you get yet another order over the phone for a large pizza and 2 caprese salads, it's us, lol....
