I bought the Chinese stewed cabbage(白菜滷) but what’s inside the packaging is two bags of meat jerky. If you don’t hv the product just say it’s sold out on the invoice and not give people what they did not order. I get it it’s hard for businesses but that’s not a way to conduct business if u want customers to come back. We also bought the moon shrimp cake (月亮蝦餅)the quality is not there anymore. No where near how it used to taste, there’s a lack of shrimp taste n they mixed in the shrimp paste with too much powder. The crispy layer is not present in the middle, only on the edges, very disappointing not going to...
Read moreI pre-ordered two bags of organic peaches from this place five days ago, and I drove from South San Francisco to the store to pick up the peaches today. However, my name was not on the list when I got there, and the clerk told me that the peaches are sold out (which is ridiculous, because I just saw another customer bringing multiple bags of peaches with him and walking out).
I’m definitely not coming back to this place again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to other people. I wish there’s an option to give zero star rating. It is run by either not organized or dishonest people. It totally...
Maxine’s Kitchen
I’m super excited that Maxine’s Kitchen in the Bay Area sells Ai Yu Jelly—what a great surprise!
If you haven’t tried Ai Yu before, it’s a natural, plant-based jelly from Taiwan. It’s made from the seeds of a wild fig plant and has this smooth, slightly bouncy texture that’s really refreshing—perfect for cooling down on hot days. Just add some fresh lemon juice or honey, and you get a healthy, tasty treat that’s light and not too sweet.
I seriously love Ai Yu! It’s low in sugar, low in calories, and high in fiber—great if you’re watching your diet or staying active. Plus, it’s totally guilt-free and super delicious.
The Ai Yu at Maxine’s Kitchen tastes just like the real deal from Taiwan—pure, natural, and free from artificial stuff.
If you’re curious about trying something new and healthy, I definitely recommend checking it out. Support this awesome local spot and discover a unique Taiwanese dessert you might just fall...
