Circle T Restaurant — Restaurant in Hazard

Over the past 3 months certain service has went down. Last night I witnessed someone upset and threw their food at a waitress. I shrugged it off as it a miscommunication. Before I left I wish I had food to throw as I say there patiently for 1 hour and 20 minutes with no food. Turned out the waitress after telling us 2 times our food is coming right out she didn't even turn our ticket in. We sat there so long that no other place was open by the time we left. This place is a gem! Have heard lots about it by locals that are regulars. We were on our way through delivering supplies for flood relief and it was just about lunch time. I ordered the country fried steak breakfast and by buddy got the Philly steak sandwich. My order was fantastic and he enjoyed the banana peppers and his sandwich. We also got a visit by a local judge who is a big reason I wanted to stop there. Have heard lots about Circle T from her. Our server was super busy but served and put up with us like a champ. Walking into this small diner, you get the traditional feeling. It is small and standard in interior. The waitresses are extremely friendly and are there to get you anything you ask for. The menu was a standardized "country had things like ch" menu and I loved it. They had chicken and dumplings and fried okra and don't even get me started on the deserts.
